Guys. This is so sad to hear. I can't believe this happened. I'm heart broken. Ariana and Jai are just perfect. And I'm here for you if this is bad news like it is for me. I just love them both. And there not together. 😭

They were spotted kissing in May after they split up last year.

But it seems Ariana Grande and Jai Brooks have called it quits once again.

Ariana, 21, allegedly ended things with the 19-year-old Australian comedy star last month because he wasn't there for her during a difficult time.

'When her grandfather was dying, everyone was there for her. People flew to Florida to be with her, but Jai didn't,' a source told EOnline. 'Ariana just felt he wasn't there like he should have been.'

Ariana posted a cryptic Tweet that the source said was aimed at Jai.

'You learn a lot about love, life & the people around you during a time of crisis. July was painful for many reasons but of all the personal loss I suffered last month, the loss of my grandfather, a true gentleman, was the only one that truly mattered,' she wrote.

'I thank my loves for being so in tune to what is good and right for me and my heart. I hope you will surround yourselves with people who will be there for you thru the bad times, not just the good. I thank everybody who was here for me when I needed them as the ones who weren't really broke my heart.'

Ariana first started dating Jai, a member of the Australian YouTube comedy and prank group The Janoskians, in August 2012.

The pair allegedly split in July last year, after which she started seeing The Wanted star Nathan Sykes.

In October, Jai, stated that Ariana was still in a relationship with him when she began seeing Nathan.

Ariana and Nathan broke up in December after dating for four months.

She and Jai then rekindled their romance in May, when they were spotted enjoying a passionate embrace backstage at the iHeartRadio Awards in Los Angeles.

Ariana has faced a rough time of late.

Along with her grandfather's death last month, her TV show Sam & Cat was cancelled after just one season, despite being a ratings hit.

Nickelodeon announced that the comedy series, which stars Ariana as Cat Valentine and Jennette McCurdy as Sam Puckett, would end with its last produced episode 'Getting Wiggy' which airs on July 17.

The cancellation comes following rumours of a rift between the co-stars and friends, with Jennette unfollowing Ariana on Twitter and not appearing at the Kid's Choice Awards back in March due to 'issues' she had with Nickelodeon, according to Deadline.
