Imben can't touch silver directly, they'll either get burned, poisoned, or it simply does littke to great damage. This is why only the rich people, warriors and the royals are allowed to own silverware and or items like weaponry. They can tho with using gloves or any other barrier between them and the silver.
However, silver blocks any magic. Walls plated with silver (often used in Jails or similar) stop the people inside the room from being able to use their magical powers.
Silver can not be hold and or moved by magic. Imben can't form silver magically they'd have to do it manually.
So pretty much every Imb freaks out when they hear or see the use of silver nearby.
