A Gil love story

reunion is bittersweet (revised)

I put on a blue and yellow dress then added a tiara. I made my way to the front of the gate and standing with me were my brother ben and my boyfriend lyric. I held onto lyric's hand and held my breath as the 4 kids walked out of the doors and in front of us. I took a proper bow and looked at the new group.

"Nice to see you all."

I stand up and hold out my hand to someone familiar.

"It's a pleasure to have you back."
"The pleasure is all mine."

Gil's father kisses my hand.

"Princess."

"welcome all to auradon High."

I went from left to right.

"and you guys are."

"We are the son and daughter."

"of the Queen of wonderland. This is my sister diamond."

"and this is my brother spade."

I laugh a little at their synchronized talking.

"What's so funny."

"about it."

"time runs out when the holes aren't deep and the river isn't wide."

They smiled back at me.

"You speak riddle."

"I'm sure you will love our riddle language class."

They hi-fived each other.

"I'm sure."

"we will."

Next, I moved on to a girl with blue faded hair that reminded me of Evie's hair.

"it's nice to meet you."

"likewise. The names Hayden."

"that's a nice name."

"Thanks."

I take a glance down and saw Gil holding her hand.

"I hope you enjoy it here at auradon prep."

"Why thank you, Princess."

I move on to Gil.

"it is nice to have you back here again."

"I'm sure it is."

His tone sounded sarcastic but I let it slide for now.

"if you will all follow me I will show you to your rooms."

I turn around and walk over to lyric.

"You don't have to stay if you don't want to."

"don't worry. It's my pleasure to help you out."

He looked back then looked forward. I looked back to try and see what he was looking at and my eyes landed on Gil. He was happily talking to Hayden and holding her hand.

"I guess he moved on."

I focused on leading the group to the dorms but I was distracted as I saw Chad walking down to us.

"here we go."

I sighed knowing what was gonna happen. He walked past us with a smile. I looked back at him and he just keeps smiling at Gil. I almost got hit by a wall but was saved by a lyric pulling me closer to him.

"Watch where you're going."

I smile at him

"Thanks for the save."
