Loki repeated your words. "When will we talk?" He asked his tall blonde brother. He apparently knows more about the people of midgard and understands them better. "Be patient, brother." Both of them stared at the floor of Thor's room. "Thor?" Loki asked. He wanted to ask that if he thinks about you so much, wants to spend the entire day with you, wants to hug you and to talk about your day, to smell your hair, does it mean he likes you? He didn't know what it's like to like someone. He treated you awfully because he didn't know what to do. Like in kindergarten, the boy pulls the girl's hair if he likes her.

"Yes?" Thor asked quickly but by the time he answered Loki already changed his mind. Thor wouldn't let this go if he knew. "Never mind". Loki said. He was embarrassed. Liking a mortal is something he never thought would happen to him. "You like y/n, don't you?"

As he said your name Loki had this weird feeling. He hated it when his brother said it. As if Thor doesn't deserve to say it.

"I don't." he denied.

You wanted to talk to Loki now. You never thought this could happen but it did. You had some questions and he owed you the answers. You went to his room and knocked on the door.

Silence.

You knocked again, still nothing. You heard talking from Thor's room and even though you didn't want to listen you just had to. You almost couldn't figure out what was said. You heard Thor's voice in there, "you like y/n, don't you?" He asked. "I don't." Loki answered. You felt disappointed, but you didn't know why. You hated his guts and you were sure he hated yours, so you didnt expect him to confirm. But the way he said it.

Suddenly the door opened and Loki went out. Seeing you he immediately froze in place and stared at you. "What did you hear?" He asked, clearly angry. You were surprised by the sudden change of moods, "you got something to hide?" He looked even more pissed off and walked away, forgetting everything he said to Thor just a minute ago.

You walked away back to your room. For a minute you hoped he would treat you differently after your little conversation yesterday. It was stupid to hope the God of lies would change. "Knock knock." you heard someone say from outside the door. Loki, probably.

"Who's there?" You asked. "It's.. Loki. You can recognize my voice, can't you?"

You opened the door.

"I'm sorry." He immediately said. his head facing downwards, avoiding eye contact. Even he couldn't believe he just said that.

You just stared at him, didn't say anything for a few minutes. "Is this a joke? Where are the cameras?" You said, breaking the silence. You couldn't believe that Loki, with his disrespectful personality, would actually say that. "Say it again". You wanted to hear him say that again because you couldn't believe that this wasn't a dream. You pinched yourself in the arm. Not a dream, you thought.

"I'm sorry. Thor annoyed me and I had to get out my anger and you were in the wrong place at the wrong time". You saw the sadness and sincerity in his eyes and you saw that he tried his best to hide it. There was an awkward silence for a moment. "Apology not accepted". His eyes were surprised and this time he didn't try to hide it.
"What?", he asked. "Tomorrow. Lunch. Buy me a cheese burger and I might forgive you". You winked at him as you said that.

A date? No. Just friends. Friends? Would you call him a friend?

"Of course. Be ready at two, I'll pick you up from here". He wanted to smile. He almost couldn't control it. But he didn't like emotions. They make you weaker, that's what he believed. He turned to face the door, "it's a date", you said as he opened it. He didn't respond and you couldn't see the reaction in his eyes but you knew he heard you.

It's not a date, why did you say that?

He repeated to himself, he has made a habit out of that, again and again, wondering what you meant. Date? He didn't know what that meant and after doing a reaserch, asking Thor, he said that it's doesn't have to be a romance thing, it could be friends thing.

But he knew that you hated him. Y/n's just using me to get free food, he thought. He wished he knew how to act when around you instead of making you feel bad. He heard the elevator coming down and saw you coming out if it, not alone.

Natasha, Steve and Thor were following you. You heard their thoughts, "y/n better treat my brother right" Thor thought. "They better start dating", Natasha thought. Steve was thinking about the food you two are going to eat. You wore a simple green T-shirt, you knew it was Loki's favorite color, and black jeans.
"Ready to go?" You asked Loki. Then you looked at the other guys, singling them to go away. They did.

"Let's go", you said. You lead the way to a McDonalds. When you got in you told Loki to find a sit while you order. You ordered food for both of you since he never tried to eat a burger and paid with the money Loki gave you. You went to where Loki sat and waited for your food.

"You look good in green" he said. A pink shade was on his cheeks. You always looked good but now even better. "You're weird when you're nice", you said back. You told the truth but he looked slightly hurt. "Not in a bad way" you added quickly. You smiled at him and he smiled back.

"Food's ready!" You said and got up to take it. You went back to the table with the tray in your hands and put it on the table. "I ordered something for you too" you said when you noticed that he looked at the two burgers. You opened the wrapper and took put the burger. You were in the middle of the burger but Loki only took one bite. "You don't like it?" You asked. You didn't think about this scenario and you started to stress.

"Not really" he answered. "Sorry," you said and took a bite, "just give it to me I'll eat it".
When you finished you got up and went back to stark tower. In the entrance you stopped, "when we come in everyone will ask questions and be a pain in the ass. What do we do?", you said. Loki smirked and said "are you thinking what I'm thinking?" With a wink. "We tell them we're dating" he said after you didn't respond. You couldn't even guess that he was thinking that. "It's a plan" you said and held his hand. You two walked in and everyone attacked.

Tony was the first to jump. "Steve owes me fifty bucks!" He screamed at the sight of you two holding hands. "I thought you hate him" Steve said and gave stark the fifty. "You better tell me what happened and every detail" Natasha said. Clint was smiling, didn't say anything. He didn't like Loki but you looked happy. The others weren't there. Thor was and he just hugged you. "I hope you get married" he said in tears.

"And I almost believed you when you said you don't like y/n".
