A/N: I just finished writing the rough draft of a future chapter that I'm in love with how it turned out! So here's an update a day early bc I'm so happy! You'll see that chapter very soon ;)

Thank you, yes you, looking at the screen right this second, for reading this far along, and for supporting my journey on my very first novel!

I know my chapters are long (I genuinely can't help myself), and that I'm obviously not perfect or even close to at writing, but I'm noticing that I'm improving the farther I go along

Enjoy chapter 34 <3

"We're here to discuss the exponential growth of a bacteria and not face-tuned bikini photos, Leo." Marley rested her forehead on the table as he gave his own lesson on how to tell if a photo is fake.

"-swimming on the first date situation, so to avoid that entirely we have to look at the zoom on everything surrounding the girls' body for a real picture of what we're getting into. If there are ripples — it's fake. And since this chick — Sommer Ray — is an example of a perfect body, we'll use her as our subject."

Jason and Ryan were guffawing at Leo's very educational lecture. Aiden was stood beside his best friend because Leo was holding his phone and navigating his new Instagram account.

Helping him make his account on the drive back from the arcade was cute, especially when he was confused at the fact that the username '@aidenmatthews' is taken.

"But that's my name. Who the hell would take my full name?"

So from there, she had to explain to him that there were millions upon millions of accounts from around the world, and most names and combinations of names are already used. So he settled for '@aiden_matthews09' because that was the number on his jersey and that was the only dash combination that worked.

Leo almost had an aneurism at the double whammy of the dartboard surprise and that Aiden had an Instagram now.

They found the group settled in one of the picnic tables in the main hall of their school building, tired and defeated. Gabby was attempting to explain some concepts that would be on the test tomorrow, but most of them were overworked. Marley and Aiden's reappearance served as a mental break for everyone to have a laugh and destress, but it had been twenty minutes too long of 'Instagram baddies with Leo Kahn.'

Marley leaned back in her seat with a tired sigh, watching Leo turn Aiden's phone to show him a boomerang of this Instagram model shaking the biggest butt she had ever seen. She wrinkled her nose.

"This is what you've been missing out on, dude."

Aiden's eyes flickered to the screen for a heartbeat before he was looking back at Leo, his expression wholly bored and unaffected, "Can you not flood my account with that shit? Give me my phone back."
