Book I: I'll Be Your Melody

Chapter 13

"Yes, its beautiful" I replied, while staring at her face.

She blushed, because we both know I am not referring to the flowers.

"I could draw them for you if you want."

She looked at me wide eyed. "You can draw?"

I shrugged. "I took up some art class before, but I am not professionally good."

I melt with the way she look at me with admiration in her eyes. I like to do well in what I do, but I get shy whenever I receive compliments. With her, I want to do better to deserve the admiration I see in her eyes.

"Common, we shouldn't waste our time sitting here." she said as she stood up. This time, she was the one who held out her hand, and I was the one who reach for it.

We explore Everland, passing by rides that she think she cannot ride, which is basically everything. Her fear of heights and falling must be really extreme.

For once, I didn't mind not riding any of those rides at the amusement park. I'm content with us walking hand in hand.

"Let's ride that!" she said excitedly pointing at the carousel.

"I am not gonna ride that!" I exclaimed.

She looked at me with puppy eyes, and I just laugh at her antics. Who am I to say no to that right?

We both sit at the horse side by side, I couldn't care less if people would find us weird or anything. She's laughing and she's happy and that's all that matters to me.

Being with her in an amusement park is a different experience for me. To me, amusement parks are all abour riding the extreme rides, experiencing the thrill of it all. But here I am, riding the carousel which I didn't even like to ride when I was a kid, just because she wants to ride it. You're doomed Im Hyunsik!

After the carousel ride, she dragged me to the gift shop. She spot the colorful wigs and weird glasses and girly headbands and hats. She scanned the items and clap when she found what she's looking for. I knew when I saw the mischievous glint in her eyes that she will put it on me.

She picked up a short pink wig and a weird looking glasses.

She also put on a silver ribbon headband on me.

She even put on a pink princess cone hat on me.

If any of my friends see me now, they would die of laughter. Ilhoon would probably mock me and Peniel would most likely look at me weirdly like What the hell is wrong with me look. I can already imagine Eunkwang Hyung laughing so hard on this.

I tried to look annoyed, but she knew I didn't mean it. I couldn't help but laugh whenever she laugh. Her laughter is contagious, its like something precious that needs to be cherished.

I wouldn't mind looking ridiculous if it would make her happy. I wouldn't mind doing silly things if I can get to hear her laughter.

"Hyuuuuuuung! Is that you're new hat?"

I look at the entrance of the shop and saw our friends. Changsub hyung and Sungjae are laughing so hard at me, clapping enthusiatically at my appearance.

I glared at the two of them, I heard Amy laugh beside me. I look at her, and I lost it. I just laugh just like everyone else.
