A year later

After that day, Jinyoung prepared to move. He sold his family home and took the money to buy a new place in a new town. He cut contact with his mum, Mark and Jackson, he felt like he didn't need them to move forward in his life. No one knew what happened to Jinyoung with Jaebum, because no one was concerned he left it. He took counselling in his new neighbourhood and joined a college to learn psychology. During the course he made two new friends who are younger but are hilarious. Jinyoung was satisfied with how his life turned out a year after selling the house.

Jaebum came out of counselling 1 year later,
He kept his promise and made sure to take his pills everyday and got better as a person. He's now ready to start new with Jinyoung. Today was his last session with his doctor

"How do you feel Jaebum? Over this year your progress has been fantastic and I've seen the determination to change for the good"

Jaebum smiles at his doctor

"I feel great honestly, with constantly taking the pills, the side effects has disappeared making it less of a burden to take and my chest cells lighter since all my pent up angry has gone and I'm going to claim the love of my life"

The doctor claps for him

"I'm proud of you Jaebum, I hope you continue to flourish in your work and as a person"

"Thank you Doctor"

"Now as promised you completed your year of counselling so I am able to give you the contact details and address of Mr Park Jinyoung, here you go"

The doctor passed the information to Jaebum and wishes him well. Jaebum practically skipped out of the clinic whist making his way to his car

"Time to see Jinyoung"

Meanwhile

Jinyoung ticks the final date in his countdown

"Today is the day"

Jinyoung rushes to get ready and cleans his home

"Yugyeom! Bambam! You have to leave today"

The two younger friends groan in their bed as they just woke up but Jinyoung couldn't care less

"I need you guys out ASAP I'll explain after but you need to leave"

"Will you feed us first mom?"

Jinyoung tuts at his friends at their laziness and stubbornness

"Pancakes are in the fridge, hear those up, eat and LEAVEE, 30 mins then OUT"

"Alright alright stop shouting gosh"

Later

"04....05.....07! Found it"

Jaebum parks in front of the house and turns the car off. He takes a deep breath and grabs the flowers and churros from the back.

"It's finally time"

He heads towards the door 07 and gives it a knock. He hears a little "I'm coming" and footsteps towards the door. The door opens and he sees the person he's missed so much

"Jaebum?"

"I missed you"

Jinyoung hugs Jaebum tightly around his torso and Jaebum hugs back. After a while they let go and head inside.

"Welcome to my new house"

Jinyoung introduces to Jaebum

"Wanna give me a tour?"

After the tour, they both head into the kitchen. Jinyoung places his flowers in a vase then sits next to Jaebum at the island (the counter top with chairs in a kitchen).

"Are these?"

"Yep, your favourite dessert"

Jaebum heats up the churros and chocolate then brings it back for them to eat. Jinyoung has his mouth open waiting to be fed like a baby bird, Jaebum chuckles at this and completes the boy's request.

"I've started a psychology course and I've made new friends, I don't talk to Mark or Jackson anymore"

Jaebum hums in response

"I hope to meet your friends one day and thank them for keeping you company"

Jinyoung tells Jaebum on all the adventures the three friends went on throughout the year, although the friends are dating, they've never made Jinyoung feel left out.

"Other than counselling what have you been doing bummie?"

Jaebum smirked at the nickname then explains he stopped with photography and short stories due to it being filled with negativity and moved to music

"I've been taking vocal lessons and I've been writing music, I have a small studio 20 minutes from here so I'll be able to see you very often"

Jinyoung claps in excitement

"I can't wait to hear singer Jaebum!"

Jaebum chuckles at the younger

"I checked on your progress monthly to make sure everything was okay and when your results improved every month, it made me more happy"

Jaebum grinned in pride

"I'm proud of you Jaebummie"

Jinyoung leans and gives him a kiss on the cheek. Jinyoung's face goes red from embarrassment and Jaebum coos at the cuteness.

"I can't wait to receive those often and also some on the lips too"

Jinyoung played with his fingers while Jaebum looks down at him

"Youcouldhaveonenow"

"Hm? I didn't hear you little one"

Jinyoung pouts and faces the male

"I said I can give you one now"

Jaebum lifts the younger and places him in his lap before sealing their lips together. The feeling felt so right, nothing could come between them. They break off the kiss for air and they lean their foreheads together

"I will love you so much more than what I once did, one step at a time"

"We will learn to love"
