Alexandra Clark Davis is your regular 17 year old. She goes to school, she goes out with her friends, she parties on weekends. Everything basic.
The only family she has is her dad but she's never felt at loss. Having fun with her dad here and there...
Alexa wakes up with a loud groan, thanks to her blaring alarm clock her head is now buzzing.
Having stayed up the previous night binge-watching suits on Netflix and completing her essay for English, she barely got any sleep.
Remembering last night she felt instantly tired. She barely got even 4 hours of sleep and she wasn't a morning person at all.
But she understood the importance of school and definitely wasn't one to crib.
Besides she loved going to school, apart from boring classes she managed to have quite some fun with her friends during the day. Infact, the only part of school that she didn't like was having to wake up in the wee hours of the morning.
With those thoughts in mind and a new found determination, Alexa gets out of her bed and stands up straight. She stretches her body, arching her back and relieving the tension in her back muscles.
God, she badly needed to fix her posture.
Although Alexa normally avoids using her phone first thing in the morning, she still spares it a glance to look at the time.
After having checked the time, she keeps her phone back on her bedside table.
Next comes the part that she loved, Picking up an outfit for school. She decides on wearing a cute blush pink cut out blouse with distressed blue skinny jeans. She pairs it off with nude pumps.

She lays out her outfit for the day on her bed and goes to have a hot shower.
Unlike others, she likes her water to be boiling hot. The hot water soothes her skin and it almost feels like a cheaper substitute for massage.
With 15 minutes left on the clock, she is all set for school.
She grabs her phone from the table along with her books and rushes down the stairs to meet her dad.
Her dad, George Clark Davis, is cooking in the kitchen. If you live in Pennsylvania you'll be quite familiar with the name since he is the owner of the Davis Empire. He owns upto more than 50% of the land of the state apart from other businesses that he runs.
George being in his usual bubbly mood, gives Alexa a side hug and he continues cooking.
"So dad what are you making?" Alexa asks while checking her Instagram. She was quite an active and popular user.
"Pancakes" her dad replies without looking up. He is on a roll today. Making the batter, making the pancakes and then catching them on a plate. He prefers a full show. Sometimes he would pretend that he was on a tv talk show, guiding the audience step by step to the recipe of his special pancakes.
Alexa grins from ear to ear. Pancakes were her favourite.
"You know I love you right?" Alexa chirps in, finally putting her phone down and picking the newspaper up instead.
"Yes sweetie I'm well aware. Now hurry up and eat! You don't wanna be late for school again huh." George says trying to sound angry but failing miserably.
