dark elves: called Saracen by most humans they are elves who dwell in the deserts; most commonly denoted by their dark skin, ears and blonde locks; they are a matriarchal society
harvest moon: the final moon that denotes the end of the harvest season; usually a time of celebration
swain: a young man who attends to a knight or lord
Safeerah: title given to female ambassadors of the dark elves
Saracen: a dweller of the desert; western name for dark elves
