For one more night
can we be ok?
Can we stay strong enough
For one more night?
I know its hard
And it doesn't feel right
But we need to stay strong
For just a night.
We're crying and broken
feels like we're falling
And feels like we'll never hit the ground.
We're trying to help each other
but forgetting to help ourselves.
We're broken, then mended, and broken again
Will this cycle stop spinning around?
We need to breathe
Need to feel
Need to calm each other down.
Though with anger we seethe
And blinded with tears
We'll make it safe and sound.
Because if we can make it through this night
We can make it through this life.
