How long has it been, since we met that day?
How long has it been since that first kiss?
How many days have gone by when I've said I loved you,
How many times has it been you that I miss?
Do I still love you? Yes I do
Do I still need you? Yes I do
But I know that this was never meant to be.
You’re just so beautiful, and I can't help but love you still
This feeling we call love, I don't think that it was meant to be.
I still wonder sometimes if you ever even loved me
I wonder if you missed my love, if you missed me at all.
But I know that we had to stop before one of us would fall
Every day I live, I miss you.
And every day I breathe, I need you
Every time I see a couple kiss, I think of our first one
And every day I wish it was you beside me to watch the setting sun.
And every time I cry for you, I wonder if you still love me.
And every time I feel like I'm blind, I wonder if you could ever see
That I loved you.
