Fatima (R.A) was the most beloved child of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.S). She lived a very simple life. Fatima (R.A) had high moral values. Even on her marriage day, Fatima (R.A) did not forget about those in need.

A girl's wedding dress is probably one of her most cherished belongings. However in the case of the Fatima (R.A) it was not. Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.S) had bought Fatima (R.A) a new dress for her marriage ceremony. Fatima (R.A) owned a patchy dress before. She loved the new dress that her father had bought for her. Just then a poor woman came to her house and asked for a used dress. Fatima (R.A) decided to give her the old patchy dress as the woman had asked but remembered the verse: "By no means shall you attain righteousness until you spend out of what you love." (Al-Qur'an, Surah Ale Imran, chapter 3, verse 92).

So she gave her the new wedding dress, while she wore her old dress to her wedding. When asked by the Prophet (S.A.W.S) why she did not donate her old dress, Fatima (R.A) replied, "because I follow the teachings of the Qur'an."

She told her father that there was nothing with her which was more beloved to her than her new dress. So she gave it away just to please Allah (S.W.T). SubhanAllah!!!

Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu. No wonder why her rank is raised so high, as she is already promised to be the women of Jannah.

She attained the pleasure of Allah by giving her everything, and Allah elevated her status in Jannah. Such is the mother of Hasan (R.A) and Husain (R.A)!

It wasn't that everything was served to them in the plate. They had struggled more than us yet they were happy, content and thankful. They were more giving than us even when they had little for themselves.

Take a moment...and REFLECT!

Are we really following their steps? If they earned Jannah with so much of efforts, do we think we will enter in it with a matter of fraction? Will our Duas only work and not our actions?

These are the best of people to live on this earth who never got themselves attached to this world or any of it's materialistic things.

They are our inspirations and role models, but do we really look upto them and follow the same in our lives?

She followed QUR'AN and here we feel our hearts heavy to touch the Qur'an and to even read a verse. Such an act of shame!

SubhanAllah! May Allah (S.W.T) grant us all an understanding. We have everything in front of us yet we don't value it as much as them.

May Allah (S.W.T) protect us all from all sorts of evil and may He (S.W.T) inculcate in us the qualities of the Qur'an and make us live like them. May Allah (S.W.T) forgive all our sins and guide us all towards the straight path and help us follow our religion correctly.

Remember everyone in your Duas! I just felt the need to post these reminders for us to push our souls towards righteousness.

BarakAllahu Feekum❤️
