Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu.
I have divided this chapter in 3 parts: Thanks Giving, to spend in Allah SWT's way, hasten to do good deeds and compete each other for Akhirah.

1. Thanksgiving:
This is something I witnessed with my eyes! I was once out with my family and we were in a mall...somehow it got very late. It was like 11pm and we thought their won't be much place open for dinner now...so we decided to have something in food court. We ordered few things and everyone sat down with their orders. As it was so late, their were only few people remaining in the food court and also many shops were closed in the mall. We were eating until when I saw something and couldn't control my tears. This incident still gives me goosebumps even now when I remember it! It makes me so much more thankful to Allah SWT for everything He has blessed me with HIS countless blessings ALHAMDULILLAHI RABBIL AALAMEEN! I saw that one of the workers who clean up your table after you leave the trays on the it, was eating the left overs of the food! YA ALLAH I LOST MY APPETITE!!! And this makes me cry even now when I am typing...this is not something you see in everyday basis...WE ARE SO MUCH MORE BLESSED THAN OTHER's ALHAMDULILLAH!

It is mentioned in a Hadeeth to read this Dua below for thanking Allah SWT when you see someone afflicted by misfortune or when seeing a sick person or a person in difficulty.

The Prophet (S.A.W.S) said: "If somebody recites this dua while he saw someone else in
some fatigue or tensions, he would not be involved in that fatigue or tension."
(Reported by At-Tirmidhi, Ibn-e-Maaja & Tibraani)

(Transliteration: Alhamdu lillahi lazi aafani mimab talaaka bihi wa fadhalani alaa katheerim mimman khalaqa tafdheela)

(Transliteration: Alhamdu lillahi lazi aafani mimab talaaka bihi wa fadhalani alaa katheerim mimman khalaqa tafdheela)

(Translation: Praise be to Allah who has spared me what He has afflicted you with, and preferred me greatly above many of those that He has created)

This dua should be read softly or in heart so as not to hurt the person who is afflicted.

And those who are afflicted with any calamity or disease always remember this Hadeeth.
