Chapter 23: Oh! THAT Cuttlefish

Pearl & Marina: WHAT?!

Pearl snatched the phone from his hand and started reading over the review.

(Y/N): Okay, I might've embellished a little on the ending, but the rest was true.

Marina: Wow! They really loved it!

Pearl: Of course they did, yo! We're the best! And having the second best group with us helped a bit.

Pearl said this smugly.

The three of them were now sitting there in silence.

(Y/N): Soooooo... Can you two leave now?

Pearl: What? Can't handle our joy?

(Y/N): It's more the fact that I'm only in a tank top and boxers.

Pearl and Marina started blushing and looked down.

(Y/N) yanked the blanket higher up over his body.

(Y/N): *Gasp* How lewd!

Pearl and Marina then left, to let him get dressed and take a shower.

Once he was done, he went downstairs to see Marina and Pearl were talking, excitedly, on speakerphone with someone.

Callie (over speaker-phone): That concert was off the CHAIN last night! We should definitely do that again sometime.

Pearl: Yo, definitely. Our ratings have got to be raising a ton.

Marina: I don't know about yet, but it's definitely going to grow sometime in the near future. That concert was the best thing that could've happened to us.

Callie: Yeah. Well, I've got to get back to work, so see ya.

Marina: By-

Callie: And ask (Y/N) when is he going to take me out on a da-

Pearl hung up the phone.

Pearl: I didn't quite catch that.

(Y/N): Hey, girls? What's going on?

Marina: Huh? Oh, nothing. Callie called, asking if we had seen the reviews.

(Y/N): Gotcha.

He hops over the back of the couch.

(Y/N): So, what're we doing today.

Pearl: I don't know about you, but we have got to go to the Square. We'll probably be signing autographs all day.

(Y/N): Then I'll just tag along. I'm sure I'll find something to do in the Square.

Pearl throws her arm around (Y/N)'s neck.

Pearl: That's the spirit!

They had some breakfast, watched a bit of television, then left to head to the square.

They were on their way to the Square, when suddenly, (Y/N) received a phone call.

Ring... Ring... Ring

Pearl and Marina looked over at (Y/N). He looked down and answered his phone.

Pearl and Marina couldn't hear who he was talking to, but they could get the gist of what they were saying and who they are, based on (Y/N)'s responses.

(Y/N): Hey, what's up?

Marie: Nothing much. So, what're you doing right now?

(Y/N): I'm not doing much either. I'm heading to the Square with Pearl and Marina right now.
