Demtre pov : A piercing laugh hit my ears i groaned. And opened my eyes slowly trying to adjust to the light when i heard the laugh again i put my pillows over my ears i got up and walk down stairs to investigate once i was down stairs i seen micah holding novas hands helping her stand up she looked up at me wobbly and gave a toothless smile " look demtre the baby i walking " i nodded looking at nova worryingly there was class coffee table behind her and micah was holding just her finger tips she was wobbling i reach out and grabbed her before she feel " demetre stoppp i wanna play with her " i shook my head and placed nova on my hip making sure to hold her back i looked around to find the downstairs empty i looked down at a pouting micah "how did you get nova down here wheres everyone " he shrugged " i found her in the hallway next to ke's room and i carried her down stairs " i almost had a heartattack why wasnt they watching her they let micah a three year carry nova down the stairs i looked around novas body to see if she was hurt anywhere but she wasnt i sighed in relief then the anger came back " micah go play with your toys alright and dont try to carry her again ok shes small she will get hurt this is your niece you dont wanna hurt her right " he shook his head " i had a idea " micah go get your shoes ok "since they cant watch there kids i'm going give there asses a taste of there own medicine i gradded novas diaper bag changed her diaper and put her in her. Micah came running down stairs with both his shoes on they were on the wrong feet and untied but they were on atleast he tried i sighed and put nova on the couch and put micah on my lap and took his shoes on the right way i pick up nova and grabbed micahs hand grabbing the keys to one of the cars

Kyra's pov : i looked out my bedroom window at the pool i never understand rich people what the point of having pool if you never use it i went into my draws and looked around to see if out of all the clothes cece bought me that she so happened to buy me a bathing suit i looked in the bottom draw and found a black two piece i wasnt sure about it but i put it on anyways i looked in the full size mirror my insecurities started to creep in i hid my stretch mark filled stomach under my arms and smile softly at my reflection i already had problems with my body before nova but after she was born it had increased i sighed grabbing a towel from the closet and wrapped it around my waist i didnt care about how the bathing suit made my body look no one was going see know ever went in the backyard so i sure i was safe i went outside and dropped my towel onto the nearest chair and went to the shallow in and got in slowly i never learned how to swim because of obviously reasons we lived in the middle of the city sand the only time i would come in contact with a pool or beach we had to drive a long distant to go to and my mom was never around to take us so king and i just never learned or never had the urage to learn but i did know how to stand in the water dispite not knowing how to swim i love the feeling of water on my skin and the water made feel lime my weight didnt matter anymore it was just save. I put head underwater and came back up leaning back with my eyes closed feeling the warm sun on my face " for the famous tony santiagos daughter you are not very aware of your surroundings huh ?"i jumped up and pushed my hair out my face to see a laughing romeo looking at me i rolled my eyes and splashed him "dont scare me like that how you even get in here " he put his hands up in surrender "cece let me is she is my godmother after all she cant stay mad at me " i looked at him confused " cece and my mom are bestfriends" i nodded my head and looked down and it made me remember what i had on my arms went around my stomach quickly i looked at romeo and he squinted at me then he took of his shirt and socks and shoes " what you doing " he didnt answer me he just jumped in an swam towards me once he was a inch away from me he peeked up from the water and looked up at me with a smile i smiled back before he picked me and i screamed " romeo put me down !! " he lowered me so that i wrapped around his waisted. Wrapped my arms around his neck so wouldnt fall he backed uptoward the deep in and started to panic silently " romeo stop i cant swim " he stopped and looked me in my eyes " you trust me " i stared back at him and nodded he went further into the deep in till it was up towards are necks then back to the shallow in " why you do all that just to bring us back over her " he smirked " i just wanted to see if your ass can swim and if you trusted me or not " i jump off of him "what if i said no what was you going do " he smiled wrapping his arms around my waist " i was going drown you " i gasp and hit his arm he laughed pulling me closer towards him by my waist i unwrapped his arms from around me not comfortable him touch around my stomach and waist " chili out your beautiful alright I'm touchy person so you going have to get over it " i rolled my eyes as he wrapped his arms round me again but this time backing me up in the corner of the pool"kyra i dont know what is about you and i know I'm about to sound like corny ass niggas but i forreal like you arent like these girls around here you dont act like your better then anyone and something about you makes me want to protect you no matter what " i smiled no ever said anything like that to me before in some kind way he made me feel safe every other guy including kind had things about them that made me feel uneasy but romeo made me let go of those worrys and bring down my wall i had built. I grabbed his face softly placing a kis on his lips before he had the chance to kiss back i swam away

Romeo had left a feel minutes ago when my dad came back and demetre came in the with the kids i was going take nova from his hands since i haded gotten anytime with her since but king beat me to her i didnt even wanna argue with him at this point so i just went up stairs towars my room and took shower rising all the chlorine out of my hair and off my body once i got out the shower i put on my clothes and went down stairs for dinner everyone was talking around the table but king and i ,i watched nova eat in a high chair and micah sneak her more food from his highchair i laughed shaking my head putting more macaroni in my mouth i caught kings eye and we both looked away slowly . once dinner was over we all start clearing the table both nova and micah was falling a sleep in there chairs cece grabbed micah and my dad was going grab nova but i stop him" i got her she needs a bath anyways" he nodded i pick her up and she. She winned and looked at me with sleep eyes " ill help her she can be alot to handle when shes sleepy " i looked over at king and nodded softly and went up stairs toward my bathroom king followed close behind we got to my room there where bags on the bed i look through a couple with one hand and held nova with the other there where bags of brand new baby clothes " here can you take her in the bathroom is right there while look though theses" he nodded and took her from me and disappeared into the bathroom in the bags there was basically was everything a baby would need in the bags i smiled i knew it was demetre because he was the only on that left today besides my day he may act hard all the time but he very sweet i grabbed a brand new pajama set and pacifier and some soap and a rag then headed into the bathroom to find king trying rock a crying nova i walked over and put her pacifier in her mouth which made her quite down and looked at me i smiled and pick her up while undressing her then king had turned on the sink to warm water she was still to little for the tub so it made since to wash her there i put her in softly putting her dirty clothes next to the sink and her diaper in the trash i start washing her slowly she splashed her hands in the water and laughed everytime it hit me i laughed back at her sillyness " why the blonde " i looked at king and shrugged " wanted a new start i felt i changed and i wanted my hair to reflect it " he nodded grabbing the soap and washing her hair with it

(Kings pov):" I'm sorry for everything i said kyra i try so hard for nova not to grow up in what we did that i forget that so are you too and i forget that you are still young so its ok that you make mistakes " she smiled softly at me washing behind novas ears " king sometimes i feel that nova is better off without me when i on drugs was the only time in a long time i felt ok i didnt have to worry about anything i didnt have anyone to be disappointed in i was free and i am not going lie i miss it so much king does that make me a bad person. I put the rag down and looked at him he face held no emotion which caused me to sob he held me i pushed him away from me and wiped the tears aways then grabbed a towel from the the closet and wrapped nova in the towel then went into the room i put her diaper on and clothes then put milk in her bottle and handed her off to king once he had her i put a light coat on and my slides then grabbed my phone " where you going kyra " i looked at him " i need some air ill be back ok " he didnt say anything he just rocked nova softly i walked out my room down stairs then out the front door i sighed heavily i felt like i was panic attack when i felt like this i just needed my fix then i was ok but i was clean and i wasnt going there again i was done with that when i was with jaden when i couldnt get coke we fucked it filled the hole like coke did but with coke it kept me high longer i looked through my contacts and found someone anyone i could fuck to get my mind off this pain in my chest someone that can be my temporary i finally got to a name that i knew i could and he would come in a heart beat i dial the number crossing my fingers hoping he'll answer
