Chapter 11 Disappointment

After that rest, Diana fed me.

She told me mate was still in the doctor's office so I thought the whip must have been really serious.

I looked at my back a couple of times.

9 scars added.

My back was filled with cuts and scars. Kyra didn't manage to heal them entirely, therefore having a scar. She had always blamed herself. But I didn't.

I always thought myself as a hideous girl. Who has so many scars people can't even count. They're just cuts here cuts there, all over.

But the 9 whips, stood out from my other scars.

Now, I was heading to the doctor's office to check on mate. But I doubt they will let me see him considering I'm nothing but a she-wolf in their eyes.

"Yes?" The doctor opened the door.

"Um, is the alpha still around?" I asked.

"Why is that any of your business?" He said coldly.

*Growl*

Kyra, calm down. He doesn't know..

"I-I get it. But could I see him?"

"Why are you an exception?"

"I'm a friend of his sister."

"So? Don't think you can use the alpha's sister as a way of seeing the alpha newbie. You're not welcome here. Leave." He commanded.

"At least- is he healed?" I kept asking.

"Sigh... You won't give up will you?"

"Just answer the question doc."

"Hmph! A disrespectful she-wolf! The alpha would not be pleased with you!"

Is he for real?

"This is a yes or no question doc. Is he okay or not?" I said frustratedly.

"Get out!"

And he slammed the door in my face.
