The Demon Lord Zugloth stands in front of everyone grinning. 'You have five minutes to prepare for your deaths.' He looks at Jill who is staring at him in shock.
Ryder walks back up to Jill, his eyes fixed on the Zugloth. 'Master, this one is going to be tough for us, I felt his strength and he's holding back.'
Jill looks at Ryder shocked. 'Do you think you can...?'
'I'm not sure. If this was a quest, I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be a normal red quest. Sure, red quests are amongst the most dangerous ones but... I'm pretty sure it would of made a black rating...'
'You mean...' Jill responds with a touch of fear growing in her voice.
'Yes, a raid quest that should involve more then one guild.'
Jill looks towards the ground, thinking back on what has happened. 'Ryder... I need to ask you something important but it's going to sound strange.'
'Okay...'
'What types of quests are there?'
For the first time since they started talking, Ryder looks at Jill confused. 'What types?'
'Please answer the question.'
'Okay... well, there's blue quests that involve no dangers or combat, orange quests that may be dangerous to the ill prepared and has a small chance of injury, red quests that could end in death for the ill prepared and black quests, too dangerous for any one guild to attempt. Now tell me, why you ask?'
Jill looks at Zugloth again standing there as he looks around the rubble left by the destroyed golem. 'So you can change our memories too with your magic, that's how you deceived us into coming here?'
Zugloth lets out a little laugh. 'So you do have a brain. Yes, I can. Let me guess, it was the hole gold quest thing that gave it away?' He rises his hand to the rubble in front of him. 'You really should take this time to prepare for the battle.'
His hand begins to darken as black like smock begins to emit from his palm. Suddenly and without warning, the rubble on the ground is flung to the side of the room, impacting the wall hard making a loud bang as the rocks clash down.
'That's better, now we have no ossicles.' He looks back at the shocked faces of everyone staring back at him. 'You don't have long left.' He states confidently and mockingly.
Jill looks at Ryder, nodding at him before turning to Lisa, Anthony and Lucy. 'Okay, listen up everyone. We must defeat this demon at all costs. Lisa, make sure to heal Lucy as best you can, then take control over your team, as for me and Ryder, we'll be doing what we do best as solo acts.' Lisa is a good team leader, she's been in charge of the most successful team in Brighscars for over three years now, she knows what she's doing unlike me. Jill thinks to herself. I may be the guild master but I haven't been out in the field for years. I was stupid to think I could lead them.
Ryder looks towards Lisa, Anthony and Lucy, all standing together and talking before noticing Jill being vary quiet and looking depressed.
'Stop doing that to yourself Jill.' Said Ryder. 'You're not the only one who was fooled, as second in command, I should of noticed something was wrong. No need to dwell on something that can't be changed now, what we can do... is to correct it with this fight.'
Jill smirks at Ryder. 'Oh, your loving this aren't you.' Her eyes begin to light up with flames. 'Your right Ryder, I knew I chose you for a reason.' He flaming eyes now focuses on Zugloth. 'Time to kill an actual demon lord.'
Ryder smirks back at Jill as he tightly grips hold of his sword. 'That's more like it Master, just be careful. Stay far away from his sword.'
Over with Lisa, Anthony and Lucy. Lucy is pulled back to her feet by Anthony.
