Not far from the village in an open field of flat grass plains, the Brightscars party consisting of Jill, Ethan, Lisa, Ryder, Lucy and Anthony are walking towards a large forest just coming into view just past the grass plans filled with colourful wildflowers.
Lucy walks ahead of everyone else, her eyes slightly shining as she uses the Rogues Sight skill that allows her to see everything in her line of sight without shadows. Jill and Ethan walk not far behind her, keeping an eye out for suspicious activity. Ryder walks alone on the other side, keeping the same distance from Lucy and Jill. Lisa and Anthony walk together at the rear, away from ear shot of everyone else as they talk.
Lisa steps slightly back from Anthony, looking at the drawings Lucy made on his armour. 'You know, I think she's getting better.' She examines the drawing of tall flowers with a crude drawing of a man with a large shield protecting them with the words crudely drawn Anty written above the drawing.
'Damn it Lucy, takes forever to clean my armour off, what did she draw this time...' Anthony walks with his large silvery kite shield attached on his left arm.
'Nothing lewd I assure you, at least not like last time...'
'Why does she do this?' Anthony puts his head in his hand, trying his best to quell his anger.
'Maybe she likes you... Anty.' Lisa says in a teasing way.
'She didn't...'
They look at Lucy walking ahead, skipping along without a care in the world. 'I feel so badly for her...'
'Why does she act like such a child anyway? I wish she'd just grow up already.'
'As you know, she lost her memory, maybe reverting back to a childlike state is a side effect?Ether way, you should go easy on her, you know how she can get.' Lisa walks beside Anthony again.
'That's right... I forgot. Do you have any idea what happened?'
'I don't, all we know is it was magically induced, all she can remember is her name, must of been some sort of ritual magic? Not even Jill can figure it out and she's the most powerful mage I've ever met. Then again, power and knowledge doesn't go hand in hand.'
'Well, I hope she gets her memory back soon, maybe she'll stop ruining my armour then.' Anthony looks around, seeing everyone walking ahead of them.
'You know she does it because she cares right... maybe she fancies you somewhat.'
Anthony snickers at the thought.'If that's true, then she's going to be disappointed. I mean, how do you tell a child like that I'm not into woman?'
'You could go my rout, just tell them, like I did with Jill.'
'But that's different, Jill is a mature adult, Lucy is as immature as a ten-year-old.'
Lisa lets out a little laugh catching Anthony by surprise. 'Have you even met Jill, she's almost as immature as Lucy. At least when she's trying to pick up girls that is.'
Back with Jill and Ethan as they walk, Jill reads the paper the quest is written on again. 'I just don't get it, why hold this back?' She asks.
'You know what he's like, always been selfish, probably wanted to keep the prise money to himself.' Ethan says in response.
Jill looks at Ethan for a brief moment before looking back at the paper. 'It's a red quest though.'
'Jill, it's a gold quest remember, you said so yourself.'
Jill looks at Ethan slightly confused. 'Right, sorry, what did I say? Yeah, gold quest. Still,he wouldn't of been able to claim the reward after he left anyway... unless...'
