His chest hurt, he'd been levitating for so long, flying amongst the clouds and suddenly he'd fallen right down, his bones crouched against the ground, teeth shattered, blood splashed- painting a cherry blossom explosion under his squashed body. Pathetic. Nana sighed and curled himself up, knees against his chin and back against the door. He didn't mean to be this way. He never wanted to be this way. He felt bad about pushing Serinuma out, guilty for just throwing her out like trash no one wanted.

At the same time, he really didn't care, he couldn't be bothered to hear her out. She was nagging, Serinuma was just so... he leaned over and hugged his legs tightly. What was he doing? She came in when he needed someone, again, just at the right moment. His guardian angel was it, huh? And what did he do? Push her away, closing himself in... literally. Was it really that wrong to want to be left alone and hugged at the same time? He was lonely but he couldn't bother talking to someone, too much effort, too much work. He was tired, way too tired to try.

"Nana"

Kazuma had his arms around him, his hand was gently stroking his forehead, fingers swiping by and playing with his bangs. He was so tired, he was so done, so empty, he didn't have the power to give. Kazuma didn't seem to care at all. He held him against his chest and Nana could feel it moving in and out in a rhythmic pace, he could hear his heart beating along like a drum. Nana's eyelids were so heavy they closed shut, finally, he could rest. Kazuma was warm, his clothes soft and his hand steady. Nana had someone there for him and it felt nice. The fox's fingertips caressed his cheek and brushed over his lips. Nana could feel a tingle running down his spine, he shivered and Kazumas embrace tightened. Kazuma was the only one, he'd been there for him, he'd been by his side through all this shit. Even when Nana thought he had turned his back on him he hadn't, he had kept put and choose to not abandon him.

Nana pretended to yawn as he felt tears jerking their way forward behind his eyelids. His eyes were burning and he forced himself not to snivel in front of Kazuma. Not like he had already seen Nana break down looking like a 5-year-old not getting an overpriced lego set, but Nana didn't want him to see it again. Kazuma grabbed his hand and held it, letting his thumb glide over, grazing it. Nana's heart skipped a beat. He pushed his eyelids open and stared directly at Kazuma, he couldn't help but smile.

"Thanks", Kazuma smiled back and Nana lifted from the ground once again, just levitating a few centimeters over the bed. The young man let out a chuckle and leaned in closer. Nana just watched him, frozen, fully aware of what was going to happen. Kazuma clutched his right hand around Nanas and used his other to lift his face, moving it closer to his own. Nana wasn't sure what to do? Their lips met and in embarrassment, he began laughing interrupting the kiss. Nana turned his face around, hiding his grin behind his free hand. He was such a loser. He felt like he was about to burst, the tickles spread from his lower abdominal up to his ribs, maybe he liked Kazuma a bit more than he had given credit.

"You don't have to thank me, you know? I'd do anything to be with you", Kazuma smugly said with his classic smirk all plastered over his stupidly attractive face. Nana jerked his hand away and grabbed Kazumas shirt tightly and nuzzled his face into it, he felt like screaming after hearing something that mortifying.

"I hate you" he murmured into the fabric. Kazuma ruffled his hair and snickered. It was different, it wasn't like the way Igarashi... Nana shook away the thought. He felt guilty about even thinking about someone else at a moment like that. He wasn't supposed to, was he? "You don't have to be an idiot, you know", he peeked up imitating Kazumas snarky way of uttering words. Kazuma laughed even more at that.
