Part Three; Dungeon of the Demon Lord.

Start from the beginning

'Your kidding right. Sound just what I'm looking for.' Ryder smiles as he approaches the door. 'A demon from the darkness war? Should make for an interesting challenge for me.'

As Ryder walks through the dark doorway, the corridor suddenly lights up with magical like touches glowing a pale green fire.

The party slowly and cautiously walk down the long straight corridor, staying close together as slight rumbling can be felt coursing through the stone floor and walls. Lucy walks with Jill, as she looks around confused. 'Hey.' She stops looking at a wall. 'Why are...'

Jill turns back to Lucy. 'Come on, don't get left behind Lucy.' She says cutting her off.

'But...' She looks at the walls on both sides.

'Lucy!' Jill shouts back at her, catching her off guard. 'We've got a job to do, the sooner the better.'

Lucy jogs back up to Jill, now even more confused as to what's going on.

They come to another stone door blocking their way, taller than the others and shining with a complicated pattern on its surface.

'Looks like a seal.' Ethan says. 'We'll have to break it down to get access inside.'

Ryder takes his sword and taps the door with it, listening to the echoing sound of metal hitting stone. 'Yeah, no way I can do that without breaking my sword.'

'Anthony? Can a shield bash do it?' Asked Jill.

'Maybe, it's going to be close, if I hit it too hard, the corridor might collapse on us.' Anthony responds.

'We should do it; the walls will hold.' Ethan says confidently. 'We've come this far, we can't stop now.'

Anthony rises his shield. 'Right.' His shield begins to glow with a hexagon shaped energy field around it.

'Wait, what are you doing?' Lucy asks as Anthony swings his shield at the stone door, dead centre of the glowing pattern.

'Shield Bash!' The light on his shield disperses into the air as it impacts the door. Sending the energy out like shockwaves around the corridor.

The door cracks in a spiderweb pattern from where Anthony hit it. 'Did you hit it hard enough?' Jill asks.

Suddenly, everyone feels lighter as everything begins to go up. A sudden realisation come over everyone. The floor has given way and they are now falling into a deep abyss of darkness.

'Crap!' Ryder shouts.

Jill's eyes begin to glow red, as she attempts to use magic. The light from Lisa's staff lights the fast approaching floor under them. 'No!'

'Shield Wall!' Anthony shouts out, diving past everyone with his shield ahead of himself.

A huge crash echoes through the air with dust kicked up around everyone as they realise they are flouting just above the ground, unharmed. 'Anthony?' Jill asks as she looks at him, his shield placed flat on the ground with him barely standing over it.

Everyone suddenly falls to the ground with Lucy landing on her feet and everyone else landing on their fronts and backs.

Jill looks around as she slowly rises back to her feet. 'Everyone okay?'

'I'm fine...' Ryder sits on the ground, holding his sword as it's stuck into the ground. 'Damn it...' He whispers to himself.

Lisa runs over to Anthony, placing her hand on his shoulder plate and twisting her body round to look at his face. 'Anthony are you crazy?' She places her hand on his forehead.

'Yeah, that hurt...'

'You took the fall upon yourself, we could of survived that without too much wounds, but... now look at you, I only know miner healing spells you stupid...'

Jill looks over to Anthony and Lisa, feeling a strong presence looking at them from the shadows. She interrupts Lisa mid-sentence. 'Lisa, do what you can and hurry. We're not alone down here...'

A set of large glowing red eyes appear in the darkness, looking at the party and slowly moving towards them. Shaking the ground as it walks.

Ryder smirks. 'This is more like it.' He pulls his sword from out the ground as Lisa's hand glows on Anthony's forehead.

Jill walks in front of everyone, her eyes now glowing a bright burning and fiery red. 'Everyone get ready!' She stretches out her hand, lighting it on fire. 'Interesting enough for you Ryder?'

She throws the fireball in her hand at the glowing eyes. Ryder begins to laugh. 'Perfect.'

The light of the fireball reveals a giant, red and fat demon walking towards them. Standing at over two stories high, almost as wide as it is tall. The floor shacks for every step it takes.

'Let's hope your perfect won't kill us today Ryder...' Jill smirks as she looks back at Lisa and Anthony both making their way over to her. 'Get ready!'
