When she saw it, Zendaya covered her mouth as the tears started forming in her eyes. Tom had never told her he loved her. In fact they hadn't actually said it at all.
In fact, no one had said that to her.
Without thinking Zendaya dropped her phone on the couch and sprinted up stairs. This feeling was so different to what she felt with anyone else, she was so happy at this moment that she could cry and she was crying.
Tears poured down her face as she burst into the bedroom. "Woah love are you ok did I-" Tom grunted as Zendaya threw her arms around Toms neck.
He smiled as she wrapped her legs around his waist. Zendaya pulled her self closer to him as he spun them both in circles, Tom kissing her forehead repeatedly.
"Are these tears of joy..." Tom croaked out and Zendaya knew he was crying too. She nodded and kissed his cheek as he put her down, still keeping her close to him.
Zendaya buried her head in Toms neck and he rested his forehead on her shoulder. "I want to enjoy this while the articles are still being written" Zendaya mumbled into Toms shirt.
He smiled and lifted her up again, spinning around. "What was that for..." Zendaya had a huge grin painted on her face as her feet hit the ground once more.
"Because I..." Tom swallowed, "I love you..."
Zendayas world went up in flames around her. Hearing the three words from Tom in person was the best birthday present she could ask for. But all she could choke out was. "You what..." she stuttered.
"I love you Zendaya...so much" Tom laughed and Zendaya felt her face lift into a wide smile. "I love you too Tom" she cried and grabbed the back of his neck pulling his lips onto hers.
Tom and Zendaya both smiled into the kiss and Zendaya let her hands wonder into Toms hair as his stayed firmly on her back, inching her closer each time they moved.
After a good 20 seconds the pair pulled apart and Tom pressed his forehead against Zendayas as she looked into his eyes, dazed. "What..." he chuckled slightly.
Zendaya said nothing but snaked both arms back around Toms neck, pressing herself against his torso. "That was...perfect" Zendaya let out a breath.
