So a little while ago I partnered with onsra- with her cover contest book. I gave her three of my poems too use as prompts for her latest cover contest. I took the first paragraph of a already written poem then wrote two new ones for a total of three short poems. Here they are.
Huntress
When the lands are filled with dread
A warrior born will do their part
To destroy the evil at it's head
Her of tainted blood and noble heart
The Witches Last Lament
Like smoke from an unseen fire
The last warning before it's too late
The beginnings of a funeral pyre
You already know your fate
Flightless
She was a angel who lost her way
Wore wings by night and shadow by day
and 'tis not she who commands our fright
But that who made her stray from the lights
