Sophie's eyes well up too. "Just when everything fell into place, it shatters." She says sadly. Keefe hugs her. "We can't go around like this, guys. We need a plan." Keefe says. "How?" Biana asks tearfully. "Mr and Mrs Song won't want to move to Maine after I come through. Don't worry, guys. The Keefester is on it." Keefe says confidently.
One Month Later
"Here, Tam. Don't forget to pack this." Dex says sadly in Tam's room as he's packing. Fitz and Keefe are there too, Keefe sitting in the corner. Sophie knocks before coming in. "Keefe, please stop blaming yourself. It was a brilliant plan that didn't go as planned. We didn't plan on them taking things so seriously. B isn't seriously hurt. Her wrist is healing from it's sprain. It'll be fine." She says, voice trembling.
"Really? REALLY, SOPHIE? You come in here all 'it's fine, it's fine' and it's not. WE aren't fine. I can't do this anymore. You and I, we just won't work. It's over, Sophie. All of this. Have a nice life, alone, cuz I DON'T want you. I'm not good enough for you guys, the most popular kids in school. I'm never good enough. I...we can't be friends anymore. Just leave me alone." Keefe says angrily, brushing past Sophie, who's crumpled on the ground like he punched her in the stomach. She starts sobbing.
Okay it isn't super long. I feel bad. BUT.... the next chapter will come out really soon, and will take place in Sophie's POV.
