I ran a hand through my hair, sighing as I finished cleaning up. A huge clash of thunder shook the restaurant, sending shivers down my spine. Rushing to beat the worst of the rain, I sorted the tips, grabbed my bag, and locked the café door. Panic seeped into my chest as I stepped into the parking lot. "I picked today, today out of all days to walk to work"
The rain pounded down harder and harder, as I rushed through the streets. A shiver ran down my spine, as the water seeped through my hoodie and dripped down my back. I glanced up at the booming dark sky. "Rain, you have the worst timing possible." I glanced back at the road as the bright lights of a car shone in my eyes, nearly blinding me. I stopped and held a hand over my eyes to block the impending headlights.
The car hit a puddle as it flew past me, soaking me from head to toe with chilly cold rain water. The shock of the cold water caused me to drop my stuff onto the cold cement. I felt the tears build up as I knelt down to pick up my bag. As I searched for my keys, my vision blurred from rain and the gathering tears. "nononononono, pleaaase" I couldn't tell whether my tears were falling down my face, or if it was just the rain. Why today? Today of all days, had to be my unlucky day. I sighed in relief as my hands finally hit the keys and my fingers curled around them. "Thank god" I took a deep breath and stood.
The car came out of seemingly nowhere. It seemed to happen in slow motion. My mind screamed at me to move, but like a deer in headlights; im frozen, and my body and the metal collided into one. Like the rain, shock seeped through me as I lay on my back. W-what just happened? My brain frantically tries to convince me that what just happened wasn't real, it was just a dream. I try to breath, but my lungs won't let me, pain thrashes through my chest.I try to move, but my body wouldn't let me.
What's happening?
A man appears infront of me. "Are you-" he hiccups. "-Okay?". Hes drunk. I try to respond, to scream, to do anything, but my voice wont let me. So, I blink in response as my vision begins to fade till all I see is darkness.... Till all I could hear was the gentle tapping of rain and the scream of sirens....

I glanced to my left as I raced down the mountain side. I let out a sigh of relief when all I could see was the snow behind me. I felt myself go off balance, and I stumbled a bit. Eyes on the mountain Sebastian, eyes on the mountain.
Out of the corner of my eye I saw a shape of a person speeding towards me -causing my heart to embarrassingly skip a beat. Sanchez. I see him reach for me and before I can react we are both tumbling down the mountain, my snowboard flying off somewhere in the snow.
As we tumbled down the mountain, we wrestle to get a better grip on the other. We slowly came to a stop as he pinned me down and ripped my Ski mask off. His fist collided with my face, causing me to groan and reach for my nose. He violently flipped me over, shoving my face into the freezing snow.
My eyes stung from the piercings cold snow. My face felt as if a thousand needles were poking-no stabbing- me. I started to struggle, as my lungs begged for air. There's was a small click and I froze. Fear shot through me. Was that.... I feel his fingers curl around my hair, yanking my head up as he stood before tossing me back down. I stumbled up, struggling to stand in the snow. I glanced at the gun in his hand. Oh duckk
I forced a small laugh as I took a small step back, almost stumbling in the snow. "C'mon Anthony...." I frantically tell myself that he's bluffing. He wouldn't shoot me..... would he? "My mannnnnnn" my voice shakey. Anthony frowned and his nose flared in anger, as he raised the gun. Maybe he would....
I smirk and try to play it cool. "you wouldn't shoot me, would youu?" I hold my arms out wide, in a peaceful gesture.
He laughs, his voice malicious. "Oh I think I would"
I let out another forced laugh. "You wouldn't wa-" His finger twitches and I stumble back a few steps. My ears ring and a sharp pain hits me in my stomach. I glanced down to see my coat turning a dark crimson red. That's no bueno. I look back up at him, my eyes wide. He smirkes and pulls the trigger again and loud bang echos through the air. I stumble back again, falling back on my ass.
I glance around as the blood seeps into the bright white snow. My vision blurs and I feel kinda dizzy as I stare at the blood red snow. Kinda like snow white..... I felt a strong boot hit me in my chest and I fall back into the snow. I cried out in pain and cough, wincing at the strong taste of iron filling my mouth. I clench my eyes shut as I try to breath, only managing to cough up more and more blood.
Anthony's heavy boot stays on my chest, totally making it easier to breath. I could hear his throaty laugh. "Not so big now, are ya."
I let out groan as he increased the pressure of his boot on my chest. I clenched my eyes harder, my head thumping along with my fading heartbeat. Even though I was basically choking on my own blood I managed to cough out. "Oh, I'll always be big" what the hell, if you're gonna go out, might as well be with a bang. ;) pun intended.
I opened my eyes to see Anthony pulling the trigger.
