Prologue

"Fantasy."

"Non-Fiction."

"Romance."

I mutter quietly as I sort out the books by their genre. I hear the door open and I glance up.

I smile as I realize who the person is. The person has their long dark brown hair framing her face, and she fidgets with her round glasses.

"Mari!" I exclaim and smile.

"Hey, Mrs. Oh." Mari smiles.

"You looking for the regular book?" I smile knowingly.

"Of course. Do you have any other recommendations other than that?" Mari asks, pushing her glasses higher onto the bridge of her nose.

"There's this one that you can check out," I say, holding up a supernatural romance book.

"Sure. I'll check that one out as well. Now, do you have 'Kingdom of The Strange'?" Mari smiles.

"Right here!" I quickly scan the book and hand it to Mari.

"Thanks, Mrs. Oh." Mari smiles thankfully.

"Have fun fangirling over your fictional crush!" I yell teasingly.

"Goodbye, Mrs. Oh!" Mari yells while slightly blushing and runs out of the door.

I laugh under my breath and continue sorting books.

"That girl..." I sigh while slightly chuckling. "She's going to have fun in her life."
