Lizzie's P.O.V
I arrived in la from London a couple hours early, as soon as I got off I texted my cousin. I was happy to be spending this summer with my cousin, we had never got on as children but since we got older we grew closer.
I sat in the airport listening to music and watching the hustle and bustle of people rushing to catch flights.
All of a sudden I felt someone tap my shoulder.
"Hey" said elton
"Oh hey, I didn't know you'd be that quick" I said looking shocked that it only took him about 6 minutes to get here.
"I was on my way out when you text me so I decided to pick you up instead" he told me.
"I could have got a cab if you gave the the address" I told him but the look on his face was telling me to shut up.
He gave me a hug and carried my suitcase all the way to his car, I had never seen my cousin so helpful.
"So what do you want to do in la ?" He asked me as we got in the car
"Elton, I've only just got here. What are your roommates like ?" I asked but that question made him quiet for the whole journey back to the house.
I walked up to the door while elton was grabbing my stuff, I opened the giant door and wandered in.
"Hey, what are you doing here ?" A guy asked
"I'm just..."
"You can't be here, you don't just walk in people's houses" he said practically pushing me out the door and not letting me explain who I was or why I was there.
"Liz, I told you to just go in, it's always open" Elton said seeing me standing just outside.
"I did" I said but I don't think he heard I opened the door once again and this time elton was the first to enter with me following.
"Oh hey Elton, who's this ?" Asked the young guy who had just told me to leave
"My cousin Lizzie, she staying here for the summer" he said and that made the guy feel bad
"Colby this is Lizzie, lizzie this is Colby, I'm sure he'll be one of your best friends when you leave" Elton said so me and Colby shook hands
"Nice to meet you, maybe I could show you around the house" he said clearly trying to make up for chucking me out a couple of minutes ago.
"Sure" I said and Elton went into his garage while Colby showed me around the house.
