I place the black rose crown on my head. It has grown on me. I reminds me of how things aren't always perfect, even something as serene as a rose can wither and die but still look beautiful.

Over the past few days all I've done is eat, train and sleep. I hope I am prepared for the ball today

As I look in the mirror I remember who I will see tonight, my mate, brother and that witch. I am supposed to keep my identity secret to both and manage not to kill her in the process. This sucks.

To top it all off I have been having the same three visions that keep replaying in my mind, of me dying. According to each of them each kingdom will attempt to take my life before I enter the palace to prevent the decision ball from happening.

I begin to make journey to the Moon kingdom, when I pass through the thick woods the first vision replays in my mind. I release one of my sword and stab the wolf I didn't see bounding at me. It slumps to the ground and I feel the warm liquid dripping down my arm. I cut off its head and place it on my back

I continue my journey. The second vision replays and I spot a witch in the shadows of the clearing. It lands right at the centre of her throat and she begins choke on her blood. I cut off her head too.

I reach the gate of the palace. I glance at the clock, 8:00 p.m, same time as my vision. This last vision was odd. I couldn't see my enemy. It must be a shadow warrior. I hear leaves ruffle in the distance.

I slice his leg clean off and he comes into full view. Our eyes meet. His wide and mine uninterested

He gasps "How"

"You are a shadow, you know everything figure it out yourself. I have a party to get to and people to punish"

I cut his head clean off.

"Corasi, this vision thing actually works"

I brush out my dress and run my hands through my hair. I pick up my rose crown and the three heads

I walk inside, the servants cower in corners. I find my own way to the ballroom

I lean on the balcony and look at each of the rulers as they dance uneasily. They must know what they did

Queen Sabrina can't meet anyone's eyes

King Linwood stares into space

King Titus well I can't even look at him. It sets my heart on fire, and I hate it, so instead I look at his Beta, my brother. A part of me wants to jump in his arms and shout out how much I miss him, another part of me wants to hurt him, to let him know how much pain I feel because he left me and didn't come back

He looks stunning though, sharp jawline and his stunning green eyes. She wolves circle him but he is only staring at one girl, Charmion. I keep my face blank but I know my eyes are curious.

Enough. I speed to each of them and drop the heads of the assassins at their feet. I run to the front and sit on the steps

"Linwood, Titus, Sabrina long time no see. How have you been."

The begin to back up, all three.

"Sorry for coming late, got held up" I shrug

"Oh how rude of me, meet my new friends" I point to the heads

"You all look so scared but since this is a fun night, no punishments. It was great practice" I smirk. They look at me shocked.

I turn to Charmion, I need answers.

"Dance with me" I smile

Olu places a protective hand on her shoulder. She flinches at his touch.

"Come on just for a minute or two"

I grab her by the hand and join the people at ballroom. We touch palms and start the steps

"I'm sorry for the way I acted last time, forgive me" she bows

"No worries, you look lovely tonight"

"Thank you, where did you get that dress. It's lovely" I look over her shoulder to see Titus and Olu glaring at me

"Thank you my mates picked it out for me"

"Mates?"

"Yes the Goddess blessed me with two", she blushes

Two, I have to ask. I should have known curiosity kills the cat

"Do you mind me asking who they are?"

"No not at all." she smiles
