You were standing in your bedroom, tears streaming down your face.

Your boyfriend, Mark, stood in front of you.

His hand smacked against your face, the impact pushing it to the side.

“You worthless slut!” Mark screams.

Your bedroom door suddenly slams open, making a dent in the wall..

You thought it was just you and mark home.

Suddenly Mark’s thrown away from you and a tall figure dressed in black with purple hair is on top of him, his fist going back and forth, connecting and disconnecting to Mark’s face.

Once you can’t even see that it’s Mark’s face and he’s curled into a ball, Michael pulls back and wraps you into his arms.

“Don’t’ touch my sister ever again!” He screams.

You sigh, belly flopping on Lauren’s bed in her room.

You wince, forgetting about the big bruise there from when Mark hit you.

“What was that?” Lauren asks as she lays down beside you.

The two of you were quite close, despite the three year age gap.

“What was what?” You mumble back, not looking up from the pillow your face was in.

“You winced. What happened?” Lauren asks.

You feel so guilty hiding this.

You have to tell someone.

“Lauren, Mark hit me,” you turn to look her in the eyes.

They widen. “He hit you? On purpose? Why?”

“I didn’t make his sandwich fast enough so he hit me in the stomach,” you mumble.

“You’re no longer seeing him,” a voice from the doorway says.

You look up to see your older brother, Ashton.

You sigh. “Ash-“”No, Y/N. He hit you. You don’t deserve that, no girl deserves that,” Ashton seethes.
