Moving In Series

House Hunting

Luke:

"This is ridiculous Luke," you sigh, yanking on your ponytail.

"What?" He asks from the kitchen.

"No house is going to have a step up brick patio and a half octagon room and indoor brick stairs and all this other crap we want," you reply, glancing over the list in front of you.

Luke sits beside you with a cup of hot chocolate to look over the list.

"We're going to have to build our own house at this rate," you joke.

Luke's eyes light up.

"Luke seriously?" You ask him. "You seriously want us to build our own house?"

"Why not? We get everything we want this way," he takes a sip from the mug.

"It'll cost hundreds of dollars," you argue in disbelief.

"We'll get a loan from the bank and then when the paychecks roll in we'll pay them back," Luke shrugs.

You rest your head on your hand. "Okay. Let's build a house."

"Great," he leans forward to kiss your cheek. "I'll go find a company."

Michael:

"We can put cobblestone floor in ourselves," Michael suggests from beside you as you stand in the arch between the dining room and kitchen.

"I didn't expect the house to come with cobblestone flooring, Michael," you laugh, leaning against your boyfriend.

"Just wanted to make sure you knew the options," he leans down to kiss your temple. "So what do you think? It's a three bedroom house. Can you handle two kids?"

"I can handle anything with you, Mikey," you turn to kiss his lips.

"So what do you think about the house?" The real estate agent walks through the garage door.

"We'll take the house, Jon," Michael yells, pulling you in for another kiss.

Ashton:

"The basement's scary," Ashton remarks from behind you as you stand at the top of stairs, peering into the darkness.

"Of course it is, Ashton, it's a basement," you whisper back.

"Do people actually use basements?" Ashton asks.

"I think they're just for storage," you reply.

"Storage for what, dead bodies?" Ashton snickers.

You hit his chest but smile.

"Have you two reached a decision?" The real estate agent walks up to you two, looking up from his clipboard.

"We'll take it," you reply with a grin.

Calum:

"This banister's slippery," Calum says to you quietly.

"It is, Scott said it's just recently waxed," you reply, feeling the wood banister yourself.

"Scott's our real estate agent right?" Calum asks.

"Calum we've been working with Scott with two weeks now, how do you still not know who he is?" You laugh.

He shrugs. "All I know is this is the only decent house he's shown us so far."

"Decent? You just think this is decent?" You reach the top of the stairs, walking into the master bedroom.

"It's nice, very nice," Calum walks up behind you as you stand at the window, wrapping his arms around your body, attaching in the front.

"Could you see yourself living in it?" You ask.

"Yes. I could even see myself living in it with children," he twirls you around to kiss you on the lips, making you giggle.

"So have you reached a decision?" Scott walks into the room, adjusting his tie.

"This is the house, Scott," Calum grins.

I know, I know, you don't wanna hear my excuses.

But I'll give you them anyways :)

I went on a vacation for a week, which means I had no free time.

Then school started three days later and I was sulking the whole time.

And you know how school takes up most of your time.

Correction, life.

I'll try to update more often, though.
