Jungkook just moved into his new apartment. It was a small cozy apartment. The whole place looked fairly old but inside was in great condition. There was also a garden on the rooftop and there were only 5 levels including the rooftop.

The rent was pretty cheap and affordable so it was basically perfect.

A knock on the door was heard. Jungkook got up and opened it to see the landlord, Lee Sookja. She was an elderly woman who had an enjoyable and pleasant personality.

"How are you holding up, Jungkook?" She asked with a warm smile.

"Good, good," Jungkook assured her, returning a smile.

"Alright." And with that, she left. A cat had sneaked into his room, taking up a chair. It was lazily stretched across his chair. The landlord had five cats that roamed around and everybody was okay with it. Jungkook sat down next to the light colored cat and rubbed its forehead, earning him purrs. It was relaxing.

Jungkook then realized he had to buy groceries. He groaned and got up, leaving his room. He walked to the elevator and pressed the button that went down. Jungkook lived on the fifth floor, so walking down the stairs would be quite an exercise. And he didn't want that.

Bored, he stared at the red painted walls and the potted plant that stood near the elevator. Each floor had different vibrant painted walls. It was a nice touch and he loved it. It made it seem homely and fun.

Okay, so I need to buy milk and some snacks... what else?

He was snapped out of his short train of thoughts when a person appeared next to him. Jungkook had a realization that he hadn't even met his neighbors yet. He ran a hand through his dark hair and sighed.

He casually glanced over, giving in to his curiosity.

It was a guy. He had brown hair and, wow, was he good-looking. His clothes looked effortlessly good on him as if he put random clothes on, but he still looked like a model somehow.

The elevator door opened and they both went in. The guy was smiling at something. Maybe he was thinking of something cute or funny. It was a boxy smile and it was kind of cute-ish.

Jungkook ignored the last thought and pressed the button to the lobby. The guy in the elevator didn't move so he assumed he was going to the lobby as well. They stood in silence and it was killing Jungkook. When the elevator door opened, he could finally breathe. He quickly greeted Sookja and left for the grocery store.

But he couldn't stop thinking about the guy in the elevator.

A few days later, Jungkook saw him again. He still didn't introduce himself to his neighbors yet. He was a little shy but he would have to do it.

They were both waiting at the elevator again.

"I-I just moved in and I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Jeon Jungkook."

He looked over with a huge smile, "My name is Kim Taehyung. I was wondering if you were new because I haven't seen you before."

"I just moved in like three days ago." Jungkook's heart was beating unusually fast and he was very aware of it.

"I've been here for a few months with my roommate."

"Oh, I'm living alone. Does that mean your room is bigger since you have a roommate?"

"Yup! So where are you heading to?"

"The grocery store."

"Great, I work there!"
