Sigyn opened her eyes slowly. She heard birds chirping and the familiar sound of a breeze flowing through tree leaves.
She could see silhouettes of tall trees, filled with lush green leaves. The front of her head hurt when she finally attempted sitting up.
Sigyn looked around. She saw Dodeg was already awake, though he wasn't facing her. He just sat on a rock, low to the ground, and sharpened his ax.
The mortal goddess went the rub her eyes when she realized she was grasping something in her palm. She inspected her hand, and in it laid the necklace of Harmonia.
Sigyn chuckled softly, her hands trembling. Her laughs quickly became hysterical and she started to cry.
This caught Dodeg by surprise. He turned with a look of concern. “Sigyn?”
She lifted her head, ceasing her laughter but smiling like a psycho. “We've done it.” She snickered.
“Aye.” The dwarf nodded.
“With this, I will find you soon enough, my love.” She held up the necklace by its clasps. then brought it to her throat.
