Damien was quick to adopt Mason Dexter into our little team.

They quickly filled him into our plans, the tunnel system, the notes and messages left to me by what we think was James Westley. Everything but my royal lineage, at my own request. I didn't want my secret royal life to known around school, especially to the schools closeted hacker.

I still couldn't believe that Mason hacked into the schools security system and saw me stealing.

How careless I was, steaming from the compound closet in a hurry, without thinking of the repercussions of my actions. It wasn't becoming of a potential leader, I had ton think every step of the way, think about the fallout and the outcome. I needed to be quicker on my feet.

But I was glad he caught it.

Otherwise he would have ever erased it from the school's backlog. I wondered if we could use this skill to our advantage, we definitely could scope out the entrance to the tunnel systems, and looks through previous footage to see the black orb shadow men the night of Lucy's disappearance.

That night left on a somber note.

We all retreated to our dorms after dinner, the plan for tomorrow night still fresh in our minds. I texted the place to meet and where in our group chat, we aimed to meet at the entrance to the cellar after 12:30 a.m, giving us ample time to look around before the teachers woke up around five. It was clockwork. But it left us feeling sorrowful, where the objective was to capture of missing friend Lucy. I slipped into my pyjamas as soon as both Blythe and I got back to our dorm.

Blythe in her little pink slip, and me in my matching grey sweats and pullover sweater combo. We both slipped into our parallel twin bed and Blythe pulled out the light.

"Good night" She whispered before turning over on her side.

I tured in my bed, my gaze flitting over to the window where it was snowing once again. It was a cold night, but it left me feeling warm and comforted. Right now, while miles away from home in Canada, I would give nothing more but to be back in my foster home with my alcoholic foster-Dad and irritating foster-mom instead of fighting off demons and necromancers.

It was strange seeing how different my life is now.

Princess Serene Eirlys Ophelia Iris.

A bit of a mouthful.

It was almost two hours later after Blythe and I said goodnight, and I still couldn't fall asleep. My mind was racing from tonight's dinner, the meeting with Alfred, and the fact that I hadn't finished my Calculus homework after Alfred lessons.

The handgun and knives were still in my bag and it almost shocked me that I didn't really find myself caring about it. Sure I had a weapon, so what I had a gun. I was almost unfazed. It was only a gun after all. Isn't it my second amendment right or something? Not that it mattered, I was in Canada now- why was I thinking about amendment rights?
