(Pia's POV)

The Friday of me and Leah's meet up kept on drawing closer and closer as the long days went by, and finally it came.
I was standing in front of the closet at 7pm trying to figure out what to wear. I shouldn't be thinking this hard about my appearance, I've known Leah for a while.
I decided to go with a white sweater and a black skirt, along with black leggings. And instead of putting contacts in today I left my glasses on.

I walked downstairs and saw my mom and dad getting everything out that they needed to get dinner made with. Looked like they were having spaghetti tonight.
"Hi Mom, Dad. I believe I told you this already but I'll be going out to the café with Leah to study some more."
My dad nodded and my mom said, "Yes Sweetie, I remember. Hey, don't be back later than 12."
"Will do." I smiled and hugged both of them.
I pulled on a long button-up coat and wrapped a scarf around my neck, and began making my way do town. It's been getting a lot colder lately, I feel it might even have a chance of snowing soon.
I stepped into the café and looked at my watch. 7:49. Nothing wrong with being a bit early I suppose.

Leah walked in a few minutes after me, wearing pants, an oversized sweater and a beanie. I waved her over. She sat across from me.
"Hey, Pia." She smiled as she sat her bag beside her.
I fiddled around with my hair.
"Hey" I smiled back. I could tell she was nervous.
"So uh, what do people do on dates..?" Leah ordered an iced coffee and looked at me.
"Hold hands and kiss and stuff I guess. Dunno." I took a sip of the tea I had ordered.
"Oh." A slight pink came across her cheeks and I grinned.
"Ever kissed anyone?" I tilted my head.
"N-no..—thank you, Miss." she sipped the coffee she just received.
"Me either."
"Really? Wow. T-to be honest I thought you would've at least kissed someone. Or something." I laughed.

Me and Leah had decided we wanted to take a nights stroll around the neighborhood park. So here we are, walking around the paved path chatting about random things.
"So what's your favorite snack?" Leah asked smirking at me.
"Seaweed sheets. Specifically teriyaki flavor." I tried to sound as serious as possible. Leah gagged a bit.
"Seaweed? Really? Don't take this the wrong way but that's....weird."
"To you it may be, but it's quite common."  Leah chuckled.
    "Alrighty then."

We walked in silence for a minute or so. I caught myself getting distracted by how soft Leah's lips happened to look every now and then. And how it might feel for my hand to be intertwined with hers. What was I saying?

"Hey, Pia?" Leah stopped walking and faced me, so I did the same.
  I hummed in response.
   "I—um.." she looked hesitant.
"What is it? Are you okay?"
"Yes, I'm fine.. but um I just wanted to sayyy, that.. er.. you look, very nice." It occurred to me that that wasn't exactly what she had wanted to ask, but I responded anyways,
"Thank you~ you look lovely as well." I smiled.
"Now what did you really want to ask?"
"Nevermind." She got back to walking.  I rolled my eyes and smiled, then caught up to her.

Leah suddenly grabbed my arm and pulled me into one of the little play houses.
   "Leah, what now."
"Let's play house." She smiled childishly and sat on her knees.  I laughed and sat in front of her.
    "Aren't we a little old?"
"Your never too old to play house."  My face turned red and I started wheezing from laughter.
"My mind just went to a totally different place than what you intended it to do, I assume."
"Maybe it was what I was trying to say." I quit laughing and stared at her.
"Pia I'm joking do you really think I would do that."
   "I mean.."
"No you stop that or I'll never forgive you." She crossed her arms and pouted. I began laughing again and hugged her.
"You're so cute". Her cheeks flushed.
"Thanks."  Her reactions were so cute. I wonder if I could get more?
  "Hey, Leah?"
  "Yup?"
  "Let's have a staring contest."
  "A..staring contest?"
  "Yes."
  "Ok then."

  The third round. Started.
Me and Leah locked eyes with each other . I had an idea in mind since we were so focused. I kept on leaning in closer and closer every few seconds or so until our noses were almost touching.
"I do hope you know I'll beat you right?" Leah muttered.
"Yes, I do." I smiled and inched a bit closer.
My lips came into contact with her soft, pink ones and she pulled back a bit.
"What are you doing?" She breathed out.
"Oh I dunno. Trying to make you lose."
"Oh so you wanna fight?" She smiled.
"Possibly." I grinned and leaned back in. I've never really kissed before so I don't know exactly if I'm doing it correctly, but I believe I got the idea from some from the stories I read online. Don't ask.
Leah closed her eyes and I separated our lips.
   "You lose."
