(Leah's POV)

  I followed Pia to her room. As we walked there she was giving me what I'd assume to be a tour, saying stuff like, "That's the washroom" "That's where we keep the washer and dryer" "That's my younger brothers room - -BRAXTON! Pick those legos up before somebody steps on em' please."

   We stepped into her room, and it was adorable. The walls were a baby blue, with a few posters here and there, she had her bed with a mint green ombré bed spread on  the right side of the room when you walked in, and a desk with a laptop, and a pile of school books on the left.
     She sat on the floor infront of some materials and motioned for me to sit in front of her.
    "I read the paper and I went ahead and got everything we needed so we could do the project ." She smiled proudly as I sat across from her.
    "So.. I guess how we could do this, I could write half the paper and you could write half. And the same thing with building the rollercoaster?" I asked.
    "Sounds good~! Let's get to work then. Would you like to hand write the paper or type it?" 
    "Um, I guess handwritten. I believe it'll make the teacher feel like we worked hard."
    "Sure". She grabbed a sharpened pencil and handed it to me along with two sheets of notebook paper.

~Time skip to the middle of the working   process~

   "So Pia,". I began, looking at her while setting the pencil down to give my hand a break.
   "I did my end of the deal."
   "Oh, yes. What would you like to ask?" She was very focused on figuring out how to build this rollercoaster.
"Um.. would you - -". The door opened and a man stepped in, who I'd guess to be her dad. (Kehehe , I feel so evil)
"Hello, girls." He smiled sweetly. Pia looked up from the project and went to hug him .
"Your off work early, I'm surprised they let you off. I'm glad~"
"Yes I was surprised too. I noticed my boss was in quite a happy mood, so I took the chance. Who's your friend here?" He looked at me. I felt awkward.
"Yes, That's Leah. We're working on our geometry project together." She smiled.
"Oh. Well, it's nice to meet you, Leah."
"Same goes to you, sir" I fiddled my thumbs.
"You can just call me Brey." His eyes smiled along with his mouth.
"Will do."
"Well," he clapped his hands together. "I'll let you two girls get back to work. I'm gonna go help your mother with dinner."
"Have fun" Pia grinned
"Yeah I'll try." He laughed and stepped out, closing the door behind him.

"So," Pia breathed out, "what did you want to ask?" She looked me in the eyes this time.
"Um." Should I ask her now? Probably. I might modify it a little bit .

"Would you like to go to the café with me sometime?"

I'm sorry for that ending there. I just really felt like doing a cliffhanger.
I'm also sorry it was a bit short. I've been very unmotivated lately, Lol.
