"They were the only friends I ever had
We got into trouble and when stuff got bad
I got sent away, I was waving on the train platform
Crying 'cause I know I'm never comin' back"

The car ride was deadly silent but I could feel her anger radiating. I'm pretty sure she is waiting to start scolding me until we got home because, even though we are inside a car with the driver being the only other person, we are technically still in public and she always makes sure to avoid doing anything that can give her bad publicity. Usually this is one of the things that annoys me the most about her but right now I'm grateful because I'm dreading the moment we get home and she will be free to start lecturing me.

We finally made it to the house and I had an instant feel of uneasiness. I thought I could sneak away to my room but before I could make a move towards it her words instantly made me stop. "Meet me in my office. NOW."

I froze

"Shit" I thought. She rarely ever makes me go to her office.

As I walked in, I look around and notice it still as organized as always but then my eyes landed on my mother. She's is known for her elegance, beauty, and very successful fashion empire that she built from the ground up. I've always admired her since a was little, she had it all, even married the love of her life, my father.
