It all started from an idea
A mere thought
But to much I revere
For I am very glad
That it decided to appear
And after it has become a poem
I will hold it most dear
Sharing it around with those
That have an appreciation here
For it became something special
And another poetic rendition
That I came to love
And also speak of
From my very mind above
My body and neck
For I write and write
Until nothing is left
For I just can't wait
To write it all down
For poetry is home
And always felt
Yet therapeutic at the same time
And adore each piece
As I call it mine
Original works of art
That will flow and shine
For poetry and I
Will never part ways
As this can be seen in my eyes
Bold and brave
Each and everyday
Constant and consistent
With every moment spent
And without hesitation or fear
Because even this very poem
