Just going on about my day
Then a poetic thought and idea
Just hits my mind
A light bulb moment if you will
That in this current place and time
Has itself revealed
And must jot this down
While it's fresh still
Before it goes away
For if I don't adhere right now
It may never come back to me
This same way or not at all
For to lose a poetic title or idea
Is like face planting
From a trip and fall
For it is bright as a bulb
Right here and now
And must get this
To pen and paper somehow
Because it came and arrived
But gather this before it goes
Or away it went
For now is the time
To write out the thought
From this light bulb moment
