"I-It wasn't me, dude...Maou's the guy who saved you,"

Chiho stands back up and turns away.

"Hey..." Aiko reaches out and turns his face to look at her, "You saved me. That still counts you know,"

"Aw come on, Aiko! Stop makin' me blush and crap!"

Said girl held her stomach as she busted out laughing.

"The Devil's army made it through one of the worst crisis ever," Maou turns to the group of women and bows, "Emi, Chi, Suzuno, and even Aiko. I owe you all one!"

Urushihara, who stood beside him, sheepishly rubs the back of his neck.

"Yeah...Uh, thanks, I guess- Ow!"

"Bow your head dumbass!" Maou shouts as he forcefully pushes the other's head down.

"Oh, goodness you don't have to go that far..." Aiko replies.

"I'm just glad we could help out," Chi says as well.

"The fruit's still gonna be a problem though. Better eat 'em before Alciel comes back." Emi points out.

"I can help out with that if you'd let me...I didn't exactly eat lunch today, heh," Aiko states as she sits down at the table.

"G'head, thanks for helping out again," Another dorky smile from the Demon was sent the girl's way. And soon after, Hara came and sat down beside her as she was peeling one of the oranges.

"You want some?" She asks him. He nods, and she hands him one of the peeled wedges.

"I can't believe people actually do that though..."

"You think it's that rare? You are the King of Demons, right?"

"Yeah, but Demons don't pull underhanded B.S. like that," he takes another bite of the fruit he's eating, "We don't really have the concept of "trade", y'know? We like to keep our evil on the simple side. Something like that..."

"A guy smiling at you as he tightens the noose around your neck..." Aiko mutters out, "I didn't know they existed."

"Not all humans are good people, you see. As a Church Cleric, I know that all too well."

"We're all born the same as babies though. I wonder where some people go wrong..." Chiho whispers.

"Weird place, this Human World. The Demon Realms are a lot easier to deal with,"

"Yeah, I'll definitely give you that..." Hara mumbles before popping another orange wedge in his mouth.

"Welcome, sire!" Ashiya greets as Maou and Chiho enter the apartment after coming back from their shifts at work.

Aiko giggles at the surprised looks on their faces before continuing to help Suzuno in the kitchen. She hadn't left when the others did, instead deciding to stay the whole day.

"Bell and Aiko are serving us pork cutlets tonight!"

"Whoa, you're back Ashiya?"

"Mr. Ashiya, welcome back!" Chiho enters the apartment and dips her head down, " Thanks for all your hard work. Earning back the money that saved my life,"
