"Fine with me, I don't mind you visiting," She gave him a friendly smile in return.

"By the way, what's with Ashiya? Why did he leave? If you don't mind me asking,"

"Sorry Aiks, I can't really say right now. But we'll explain all when he gets back,"

The female pursed her lips before nodding her head in understanding.

"Urushihara and I just need to keep the place safe 'til he gets back...Though, to be honest, that's what I'm most worried about,"

"Understandably," She says as the two ascend the stairs and enter the top level of the building.

"Wait...Did you just call me Aiks?"

"Yeah? Why? You don't like it?"

"No no, it's just new. You never called me that before," The girl rubs the back of her neck bashfully.

"Well I call Chiho, Chi. It just came naturally to give you a nickname too," He pulled his home key out of his back pocket.

"Hm, alright then I suppose. I guess I'll allow it," Aiko chuckles as she playfully punches his arm. Causing the male to slightly laugh as well.

"Man, I'm hungry," He then grumbles as he unlocks his apartment door.

"Hey, I'm back-...!?" The demon freezes on the spot and his body tenses.

Aiko walks around him and steps into the room. Her eyes widening at the sight before her.

"Uh..."

"What the hell is all this?" Maou cuts her off.

There was a giant pile of what seemed to be random junk positioned behind a kneeling Urushihara. To his left there lay a pile of newspaper, and to his right, a pile of citrus fruits.

"A brand new fire-extinguisher, five feather bed futons, and a water filter in the sink," Suzuno answers, "All told, about 45,000 yen it seems."

Maou sweat dropped and his face darkened.

"...Did you buy all of this, Urushihara?"

"Dude no!" The purple haired exclaimed from his knelt position on the floor.

"You think I'd actually buy all this useless household crap?!

"Then what's going on?! None of this was here when I left this morning!"

"Calm down, Devil King. Look..." Suzuno holds out a piece of paper in his direction. Meanwhile Aiko walks over towards the junk and picks up one of the oranges by Hara's feet.

"Huh? A receipt?...Wait, a purchase order?" He takes the slip of paper from the blue haired woman's grasp. A sigh then broke the silence of the room.

"Look, I know why Ashiya had to go out and work, okay?..." Urushihara changed his knelt position to one of sitting, and pulls his knees to his chest. "I know I can't pay it all back myself...But I figured I could pitch in a little at least,"

"Can someone please explain to me why Ashiya is out working?" Aiko questioned with an almost authority tone. Dropping the orange in her love's lap.
