"Allow me to explain outside sire," he gestures to the door.
"I would be happy to see him depart forever, but doing so without any reason strikes me as...unusual." Suzuno narrows her eyes at the door the pair just exited.
Even though Aiko was on their side, she couldn't help but hum in agreement.
It wasn't even a minute later when the pair re-entered the room. Ashiya looking away, and Maou with a sullen look plastered upon his face.
'Uh oh...'
"Yo Emi. Chi and Aiko too," He spoke.
"What?"
"Y-Yes?"
"Sup?"
"Sorry, but do you mind heading out? I'll explain later. For now...We need to be left alone."
Before either Aiko or Chiho could answer, Emi did it for them.
"Sure sure, whatever. Come on girls,"
"B-But Ms. Yusa!" Chiho exclaim as Emi pulled her towards the door.
Aiko rubbed the top of Urushihara's head before jumping to her feet and following the other two.
"I'll see you tomorrow, k? Tonight is my late shift," In response Hara just nodded his head.
"Mr. Ashiya...You won't leave for good, will you?" Chiho sheepishly asked while standing n the doorway.
"Don't worry," Maou told her with a dorky smile. She reluctantly turned and left, Aiko following right behind. But just before the door closed, she heard Maou tell Suzuno to stay.

The day dragged on as normal. Aiko did her work at her job, with the added slight annoyance of Shiori, but all in all it was just another casual work load.
It was a little after 7:00 pm and Aiko just closed up the shop. She said her goodbyes to her coworker as she threw her headphones on and began making her trek home.
It wasn't until fifteen minutes later that she recognized a certain Demon King turning the corner and now walking in the same direction as her, in front of her.
Pausing her music and bringing the headphones down around her neck, she increased her speed to catch up to him.
Before announcing her presence, however, she heard him mumble something to himself. Though was only able to hear a few of the words.
"...Convinced yet..."
"...Feel bad..."
"...Mistakes..."
"Hiya Maou," he jumped slightly in surprise from being pulled from his thoughts.
"Oh, hey Aiko. You just get off too?"
" Yeah, I'm on my way home. But since I ran into ya, I'll stop by your place to say hi to Hara and Suzuno,"
