Chapter 17 THE QUEST

I was already prepared for my quest to the depth of hell itself, Yalina will be making a portal that will take me to the desert where the entrance of the Lair is, my powers aren't advanced enough to make a portal,

I will have to stick to time because, exactly two weeks she will make the same portal, that will only last from morning to before sunset,

The clothing i put on was black that had only a lean sleeve which runs across the blade of my shoulder to my chest, my midriff was bare and so was my back bare, the tunic was just strapped by the sides, my pants were skin tight and long, with my furry tight black booths, as usual my my six waist beads were on my waist and my toe length hair was now in this massive updo knot

I didn't bother to hide the etched Raven, actually my clothing was revealing alot on the red raven, while i was packing my backpack, i heard someone come in,

"It looks beautiful" Ameer said, i rolled my eyes as sling my brown animal skin backpack on my back, "whats beautiful about it" i asked as he came closer to me

"The majestic aura it gives" Ameer said, i chuckled, "and its on your body, the most beautiful body" he said, i shook my head and to my shock he kissed me on my forehead and pulled me to his body,

"I can still come with you" he said, i pulled away from him, "no Ameer, i need you to be here, they need you" i said, he nodded and i playfully pulled his cheek, he rolled his eyes and pulled me out.

everyone was outside the cave, Yelda hugged me on seeing me,

"For luck" Yelda said and put on a charm bracelet on my wrist, then Marwan in his huge form came to me, he was taller than i was, he was almost the size of a mammoth, he nuzzled my nose with his nose and i muzzled his mane,

"Take care and be back" he said to me in my mind, "keep them save for me" i told him through our mind link, he gave a snout and i kissed his nose,

Then i came up to Heeba, Saudat, Eshan, Hamis, Sayyid and Haziq,

"Take care out there" Eshan said to me, like the big brother he always tends to be to i and Yelda in those days we were kids, we embrace and i patted Sayyid and Hamis who both wished me well, Saudat gave me a smile and a nod, afterall she isn't a girl of many words,

I was about to pat Heeba when to my shock she hugged me and quickly let go, then she gave me a glare and said "stay save", i chuckled and Haziq also hugged me,

Others wished me good luck and Mama Yalina was the last person i spoke with,

"Azura will be proud of you, she always has been, may the gods and goddess watch you like they always do" with that she kissed my mid stone and motioned me to the portal,

As i go through the portal, their faces melted away, and then i turned and take in my surroundings, i was in the desert, a different one from ours and then i begun my journey east,

I journeyed for four days and nights following east, sleeping in the open desert, feeding on my dry bread, cake and water, avoiding the desert travellers, and the little settlement of the desert dwellers where i some times have to steal milk and bread from their storage and even some fruits,

I couldn't risk seen with my visible stones and my bare etched raven, afterall they are still outsiders,

I even avoided being seen by the desert Snatchers, because i am to maintain a low profile,

Sometimes i evesdrop on maybe travellers or some of the desert dwellers, there they talked about the tyranny and injustice going on in any of the seven kingdoms, i even heard them talk about the attack on us,
