"Excuse me?" Did she just called me a jerk?

"Wala, ang gwapo mo babe." She cooed and she even kissed my cheeks before continuing her search. We were already on table Eleanor reserved for us. I frowned when I see some guys checking her out. This is what I am talking about! Can't they even see that her arm is linked to mine?

I inhaled sharply before draping an arm around her shoulder. I didn't know why I did it but I no longer care. Eleanor glanced at me questioningly but I just shrugged. Now I felt like I no longer wanted to go through this. I just wanted to take her home and hide her from the guys with hormonal rage.

Wait, what?

Where did that thought come from?

I can't do that, obviously. First of all, I just knew Eleanor from three days ago. Second, I don't have the right to do that―I'm not the freaking boyfriend. And third, she's too stubborn for her kind.

"Ayun! Look at the girl in the red dress. Yung nasa dulong table na walang kasama." I glanced at where Eleanor was pointing her finger. Sure enough, there was a girl in a red dress alone in her table.

The girl is attractive but I don't feel like spending time with her. There are only a few instances wherein you just saw this girl and she already have a different impact on you.

"Okay, have a fun night. Kung hindi na kita makita mamaya, magpapahatid na lang ako sa kakilala ko. Babye!! Galingan mo babe. Now's your chance, Chance! No pun intended." She laughed at her own joke. And before I could even react, she pushed me to stand. I turned to her with accusing eyes but she just glared at me.

"Do it!" She grinned. I walked towards the girl then when I looked back to where Eleanor was sitting, Eleanor was gone with the wind. How did that happen. Now it seems like I have no choice but to talk to that girl over there.

"Hey," I mumbled as I sat next to her. She glanced at me and gave me a small smile. "Hi."

"So what are you doing here alone?" I asked, trying to be casual but my eyes roamed around to look for Eleanor. I can't believe she pushed me to pick up a girl on a bar. Seriously?

Now where the hell is Eleanor?

"I'm fine." The girl chuckled. I realized that she was a bit drunk already. I forced a smile. Is this the actual way of moving on and finding another one?

I thought that they should come to you naturally so you don't have to go look for them in all places. Kusa silang dumarating even without you asking for it.

Now suddenly I felt guilty, I think I'm just picking up girls just to drop them like a potato for doing this. What a douche act. But I managed to talk to the girl―her name was Allison―to distract myself. Now I was thinking about Eleanor. Where the hell is she?

Please remind me why I agreed to her plan...

"So may girlfriend ka?" She asked. I smiled then shook my head. Actually, this is only a friendly conversation because she has a boyfriend. I was thankful for that. She's just here because they had a little misunderstanding.

"Then sino yung girl na kasama mo kanina?" I just stared at Allison. I realized she was talking about Eleanor. She saw us?

"You guys look like a couple kanina. Napatingin lang ako sa inyo kanina then the two of you reminded me of us. Ang cute niyo." I smiled. Now we're cute? How can that be when she annoys me?
