I love it when Lauren's the one with me. Everytime I feel down she's there. I'm so glad I have her as my friend.
We were already 5 minutes away from the ice cream shop and I gotta say, the traffic here Isn't bad than back home.
When we entered the shop.. Lauren's eyes begins to widen. We were about to sit down a table near the counter, but then Lauren pulled me really tight.
"We should go to another shop" She said smiling nervously
"Why? What's wrong Lauren? " I asked her
"Nothing's wrong, it's just that its 20 minutes away from our houses and I still needed to sleep early" She said
"Lauren, what's going on? Why are you acting like you don't want to be here? " I asked her almost raising my voice
"There's nothing wrong here kenz, how bout let's just take out some ice cream? " She said but it turns out to be a question
"Lauren stop making me curious. Are you saying that someone's here? " I asked her
She was silent, she avoided to make eye contact then started to mumble words
"This won't end well" She mumbled
"Hey!!" A girl shouted from Lauren's back.
She was wearing black heels and a very short shorts paired with a sports bra
Lauren flinched her eyes then nervously turns around
"Lauren? " The girl started
Lauren nodded
The girl suddenly squealed out of nowhere and hugged Lauren.
"I missed you" She said smiling as wide as she can while hugging her
Lauren didn't hugged back, she was just standing there like a statue being hugged by a 3 year old child in front of the whole shop. She awkwardly smiled then pushed the girl away
"You're out again? " The girl asked
"Uhh.. I actually haven't seen you around. Have we been seeing each other lately? " Lauren said
"LMAO, nope. But I'm glad you're here" She paused
"Ahaha yeah" Lauren said
"And who's this girl? " She said as she turned to me and pointed
"Oh, That's Mackenzie. My neighbor" Lauren said nervously
"Hmm. You seem to be fun" The girl said smirking at me and rolled her eyes
I raised my hand for us to shake but she ignores and pushed my hand away
"Seems to me, you are friendly" I smirked but in a friendly way
She rolled her eyes at me and glanced back at Lauren. She gave her a smile and started to talk with her about random stuff or whatsoever

I can't wait any longer, they've been talking to each other for like 10 minutes already. I'm here with Lauren and brought her to an ice cream shop just to comfort her, but all she did is to talk to this random girl who seems to be really close to her
"Okay I'll see you later Lauren" The girl shouted before exiting the door
"You too Avery" Lauren shouted and gave her a smile
Once "Avery" Left Lauren gave me a glance and looked down
"What's wrong? " I asked her
"Let's just eat ice cream" She said and grabbed my hand and let me sat on the table while she gets our orders
