"Tandaan mo lang ang paalala ko, pag ako nasaktan..."

"Pananagutan naman kita, babe. Wag kang masyadong kabado diyan. Chill!" She chuckled. And now she called me Babe? My frown went deeper.

"Andito na tayo!!" I made a face as I got out of the car. I didn't even thank her for the ride. Well, I should get back to ignoring women who annoys me a lot. So there's no use talking to her. I was walking towards the gate of our house when I felt someone hugging me from behind.

I froze.

What the f-uck?

I faced Eleanor who was hugging me and she's grinning playfully. I was taken aback by her grin―it was dangerous. For some reason, I knew I should be cautious when she's grinning like that.

"What the hell? Stop hugging me." I hissed. What the hell is she doing? We met in less than 24 hours and she's f-ucking hugging me?

Eleanor smiled before kissing me on the cheeks. "Ba-bye babe! See you later!!"

She got back to her car but not before winking at me. I was in a foul mood as I watched her drive away. What's with her?

Napalingon ako sa likod ko to find Monique and Lourd. And I froze for the second time. They're holding hands at mukhang kakalabas lang nila ng bahay. Did they see what just Eleanor do?

Mas lalo akong napasimangot nung makitang nagpipigil lang ng tawa si Mon. "Hey Chance!! You're here already. Bigla ka na lang nawala after nung party eh." Mon greeted. It hurts me to think that she's already moved on.

I forced a smile before turning to Lourd. Lourd's eyebrows were furrowed as if in deep thought.

"Was that Kai? Yung anak ni Mr. Gonzales??" So they did see it. My mood got worse then.

"Not one to care." I walked past them at dire-diretso na akong pumasok ng bahay. Eleanor is crazy! How can she do that? Sure enough, Lourd might think I am going out with her but d-amn!

"Good morning, Sir." I didn't even greet my assistant back as I went straight to my office. Baka kung ano na ang isipin nila Lourd saming dalawa ni Eleanor. Not that I care. Baka bitter lang talaga ako.

I was seated on my swivel chair then, "Claire." I called but loud enough for her to hear. Pumasok sa office ko si Claire, my Executve Assistant. I can be a snob as most people say but I'm not that harsh when it comes to my employees. Maybe my mood just got foul when I saw Lourd and Monique earlier. It's been years but I can't get over them!

But I have to get used to it as quick as possible. I know I can't ignore them for the rest of my life. They'll be a permanent part of my family.

"Ye-yes, Sir?"

"Hold all my calls for a moment. Then call Euan Gonzales and ask for her daughter's contact number. I need it ASAP. Then bring me coffee."

"Are you pertaining to Miss Kai Gonzales, Sir?"

"Yes."

"Sir, about that. Actually, she went here earlier to give you a note. Here it is." She handed me a tissue paper. Naningkit lang ang mga mata ko. Seriously??
