I turn to see something else I hate.

The man.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"You thought you could-" he began, but I just started running away towards the aisles.
I don't want to hear his voice. It makes me want to vomit.
I run into the asian and Mexican food aisle.
There's three people in this aisle. I'm glad I'm not alone.
I can hear the man's footsteps behind me making me run even faster.
The people turned when they saw me running.
"Help me," I said over an indoor voice.
I only wanted the people to hear me.
I guess one listened to me because I heard a thump and when I turned to look the man was on the floor. He was struggling to get up.
The person who helped smiled at me.
I turned back around when I reached the frozen things and began to run down to the deli.
When I turned I could see the man barely coming out of the aisle he fell in. He spotted me.
Shoot.
I turned and ran toward the bathrooms.
I ran into the girls bathroom's first stall. I closed the door and sat on the toilet making sure no one can see my feet. I know this is weird. Doing all this stuff because he can't come in here.
I hear the door open.
"Hey! Where are you?!" I here the familiar voice say.
Wait what? He came in?
My palms start sweating and I wrap my arms around myself.
I close my eyes.
'Help,'
I hear a gush of wind and some footsteps coming from the end stall.
I open my eyes to see a shadow walking towards the man.
"What do you think your doing in here?" A women's voice asks.
"Well I'm-"
"Ugh. A pervert huh?"
"What? No I ju-"
"Then get out no-"
She stopped in mid sentence and I could hear the door swing open. Did that make him leave?
The stall door opens and I'm greeted by another warm smile.
"Hey there. My friend told me about you. That a man was chasing you through Walmart. It's okay for now. I think he went to go puke so come out and run for it,"
I nod and do just that. I run straight through the middle aisle. I stop and turn around.
The man is wobbling out of the doors.
I quickly rush into the laundry section. There was a woman there and she had a broom. She can hit him with it and I can continue my journey.
I walk up to her as she looks over all the detergents.
She doesn't even seem to notice me.
I go around her and hide by her side.
Her dress was big and light blue. Perfect to hide behind.
"Dear. What might you be doing?"
Her green eyes looked down at me. She was waiting for an answer and clutching her broom.
"There's a man chasing after me," I quickly tell her.
Her eyes lit up but the rest of her stayed the same.
"So your the girl Amelia and Kiku were talking about. Don't worry dear. While your with me your fine,"
Amelia?
Kiku?
Wait a minute. Feliciana. Alice. Amelia. Kiku. Are these people-
"Oh. Shh. Dear. I can see the man walking by. Hide here quickly,"
She points to an empty shelf. I crawl in there and she walks in front of me blocking me from view.
The smell of detergent is strong here. It's making me light headed.
The women moves away from in front of me.
"Come out dear,"
I do. Finally it smells like something besides lavender. It smells like Walmart.
"Now. You should be getting home,"
"I can't,"
"Why ever not?"
"I have to meet someone at McDonalds,"
"Well. Did they tell you which one?"
"No. I'm not even sure he'll be there,"
I look down in disappointment.
"I'll take you then,"
I look up at her.
"Really?"
"Yes of course. When I've chosen the cleaning supplies and Amelia joins us we can leave. She knows this country like the back of her hand,"
I bet she does.
"I just hope whoever your looking for is there,"
Me too.
She finally settles with one that smells like a meadow.
Amelia finds us and greets me again.
"Hey there you. I see you've found one of my bestest friends in the world,"
"Amelia please. Don't start with me,"
"But it's fun to mess around with you Alice,"
Alice narrows her eyes at Amelia but Amelia doesn't seem like she cares.
We walk together to the checkout counter. We pass the pet aisle and I remembered about the dog.
"Wait. Um,"
Their eyes look towards me and they wait.
"I um. Need to buy dog food,"
I quickly go into the aisle. I didn't even wait for their response but I could see they are waiting for me.
After looking at all the options I have set my mind on something.
Dog food is expensive.
I just grab a bag of treats instead because I can actually afford it.
When I join Amelia and Alice they are in a conversation with a young man.
He's short and has black hair.
Kiku.
I notice him from my favorite show of all time. Hetalia.
Alice looks at me.
"Oh. Yuriko this is Kiku. He'll be joining us,"
I nod and smile. I know who he is, but wait. How does she know me?
I want to ask how she knows me, but Amelia wouldn't stop talking about hotdogs.
We go through check out and head towards the car. Which I'm glad is in the front.
The dog, Alfred, joins us. I give him some treats and he eats them quickly.
We get to the car and everyone gets in. Alfred sits on my lap and looks out the window.
Amelia starts the car and drives to the McDonalds that's a minute away. She parks it in the McDonalds parking lot and we all get out except Alfred. He stays in the car to sleep.
I get excited.
Will he be here?
