Ch. 14 Childhood Friend

Sofia POV
So I Uncle Avi, Uncle Scottie, Auntie Mitch, and I went back to where daddy and Aunt Kirstie is at. I see them happy.
I immediately ran to them.

Sofia: Daddy!
Kevin: Hey, sweetie. Are you having fun?
Sofia: I'm having a blast.
Kirstin: That's great.

I hear my stomach grumble.

Avi: Sounds like someone is hungry.
Sofia: I am.
Kirstin: How about we all change and go get something to eat?
Sofia: Okay.

So everyone went to change and we went to go eat at a local restaurant.
We walk in and someone calls my name.

Jade: Sofia!

I turn around and it's my best friend.

Sofia: Jade!

I ran and hugged her. I haven't seen her since I was sent to the orphanage.

Jade: It's so good to see you. How have you been? Did you get adopted?
Sofia: I've been great and I did get adopted.
Jade: Really? By who?
Sofia: Have you heard of Pentatonix?
Jade: OMG! I'm a big fan of them.
Sofia: Well, one of the members adopted me. They are over here.

I take her to see them.

Sofia: Jade, this is my dad Kevin. This is Aunt Kirstie, Uncle Scottie, Auntie Mitch, and Uncle Avi. Guys this is my best friend, Jade.
Everyone: Hi.
Jade: I can't believe they adopted you. I'm so happy for you.
Sofia: Thank you.

Then, Jade's mom sees us.

Julie: Sofia is that you?
Sofia: It's me.

I gave her a hug.

Julie: How have you been?
Sofia: I've been good. I got adopted.
Julie: That's amazing. By who?
Sofia: Pentatonix.

She looks up and sees them.

Julie: It's nice to meet you guys. Jade and I were just talking about how we can't wait to go to your concert.
Scott: Aw. Thank you. We can't wait to see you there.
Julie: I'm so glad Sofia has a family now.
Mitch: We love her.
Kevin: She has been a bundle of joy to us.
Julie: Well, I take you guys to your table and you can have whatever you want. It's on the house.
Kevin: I can't let you do that.
Julie: Of course I can. I own the place.
Scott: How about this to make it even? We'll give you guys VIP passes.
Jade: No way!
Kirstin: Since you guys are really close to Sofia and are so nice. Why not?
Julie: Thank you so much.
Avi: No problem.

So Mrs. Julie takes us to our table.

Julie: What would you guys like to have?
Scott: I'll have a hamburger with fries and water.
Mitch: I'll have one slice of pizza and water.
Avi: I'll have some soup with water.
Kirstin: I'll have a steak special with water.
Kevin: I'm gonna also do a steak special as well with water.
Sofia: I'll have chicken tenders with water.
Julie: Okay. Your order will be ready in a few minutes.

Soon our orders came and everyone dug in.

Avi: This is amazing.
Julie: I'm glad you guys like it.
Mitch: Drag her sis. Like it is not the word. Love it is.

We all laughed.
Soon we finished eating our dinner. We said our goodbyes to Mrs. Julie and Jade. I can't wait to see them at the concert.

Hey Pentaholics!!! I have a few announcements to make.
1. For the next 2 weeks I'm gonna be busy because I'm on the homecoming committee at my university for this fall semester. So I'm gonna be helping to plan everything.
2. Soon, I'm gonna be moving back to the university for the school year and school will start back soon. Hopefully I'll have this story finished before then.

So just know I'm gonna be super busy for this fall semester.
