Ch. 2 New Home, New Family

Sofia POV
An hour later we made it to Kevin's house.

Kevin: Okay, Sofia welcome to your new home. I'll show you to your new room.

Kevin took me to my new room. It's so big.

Sofia: It's so pretty.
Kevin: I'm glad you like it.
Sofia: Like it? I love it. Thank you daddy.

Opps. I messed up.

Sofia: I'm sorry. I didn't mean to.

Kevin gets on his knee and looks at me happy.

Kevin: It's okay. You can call me dad.

I give daddy a big hug and he hugs me back.

Kevin: I'll let you get settled in and you can meet me in the kitchen.

Daddy kisses me on my forehead and I began to unpack my stuff. I love my new home.

Kevin POV
I went downstairs to the kitchen to fix dinner. Then Avi comes in.

Avi: Hey Kev.
Kevin: Hey Avi. I have a surprise here.
Avi: What is it?
Kevin: Remember when I told you that room that I was working on.
Avi: Yeah.
Kevin: Well it's a bedroom. I adopted a little girl today.
Avi: Oh man. That's great.

We hear the door bell ring.

Avi: I'll get it.

The Trio is here.

Kevin: Hey guys.
Mitch: Hey. What's up Kevo?
Kevin: Nothing much. I have a surprise. Wait here.

So I went upstairs to get Sofia.

Sofia POV
I explored my room and it's so big. Plus, I have my own bathroom. Then, I hear my door knock.

Sofia: Come in.
Kevin: Hey, Sofia. I have some of my friends here who wanna meet you.
Sofia: Who?
Kevin: Have you heard of Pentatonix?

OMG! THEY ARE HERE! I'm already freaking out.

Kevin: Hey it's okay.
Sofia: But I'm scared. What if they don't like me?
Kevin: They are gonna love you. Come on.

So daddy takes my hand and we walk downstairs. I hide behind him because I'm still scared.

Kevin: Guys, here she is.

I'm still behind him. I'm so scared.

Kevin: Come on don't be shy.

I come from behind him and now everyone can see me.

Everyone: Awwwww!
Scott: OMG! She is so adorable.
Mitch: She is so cute.
Kevin: Guys, this is the girl I adopted today.

Everyone is in awe.

Kirstin: What's your name?
Sofia: My name is Sofia.
Avi: That's a beautiful name for a beautiful girl.
Sofia: Thank you Avi.
Kevin: Wait you know us?

Great I messed up again.

Sofia: Well...I....um....

I'm already freaking out and I start to cry.

Scott: It's okay Sofia. Don't cry.

I calmed down eventually, but tears are still coming down my face.

Sofia: Yes. I'm a huge fan of your guys. I've been listening to you guys since I was 3. I didn't want to be weird.

Daddy picks me up and wipes the tears from my face.

Kevin: Hey, it's okay we love our fans. Don't cry okay.
Sofia: Okay.

Daddy gives me a hug and I hug him back.

Scott: Yeah we love all of our fans and even you.
Kevin: See told you they will love you.
Avi: You thought that we weren't gonna like you?
Sofia: Yeah.
Kirstin: Don't think like that. We already love you. Kevin has adopted an amazing little girl.
Mitch: I agree. Changing the subject, mama's gotta eat.

So we all went into the kitchen to eat.

Scott: So Sofia, tell me about yourself.
Sofia: Well, I'm 7 years old. I love to sing, dance, and read.
Kirstin: That's amazing.
Sofia: Thanks.
Kevin: What are your favorite songs to sing?
Sofia: Don't think that this weird, but I sing you guy's songs because that's all I know.
Mitch: That's not werid that's amazing.
Avi: We gotta hear you sing sometime.
Sofia: Someday.

So we ate and went into the living room to hangout.
