It Started With Make-Up

Chapter twenty

*RM's pov*
After I found out Marie liked me back, I was shocked. I never stopped being in shock, and because of my attitude when it came to being around her I was cocky. I was jealous of her and her perfect boyfriend Winnie. What did he have that I didn't?
I was just upset but I heard her side of it and decided to calm down.
She said since we worked together we couldn't date, but she also said her love was one sided, which didn't make sense. And even though the comment wasn't directed towards me I knew it was about us. I was going to talk about it with her more but she left, probably with Winnie. And since then it's been two weeks since she texted me or any of the other guys, and she hasn't come to hangout either. I decided today that I'd figure out if it was because of me, and if so I'd apologize.

Me and the other six guys were on our way to the studio to get ready for a photo shoot.
"Namjoonie, I'm sure she's just busy with work stuff. You know how packed our schedule is right now. Plus, she's got a boyfriend, why would she wanna hang out with us?" Jimin spoke as he walked behind me.
"This just isn't like her Jimin, she hasn't texted any of us for two weeks, and last week she just didn't seem happy at all. Don't you think something is up? It was probably my fault to for being a cocky little ass towards her."
"You're overthinking!" Jin popped into the conversation. "Why don't you calm down and talk to her when we get there yah?"
"Yeah, just talk to her when we arrive!" Jimin said.
"Fine..."

"Hey, this is Alex. Marie called in today so she'll be doing your make-up." The manager told me as he walked me to chairs.
"Is she alright?"
"Yeah, she said it's probably a stomach bug but she sounded pretty bad. You might wanna get use to Alex."
"It sounded that serious?"
"Yeah, but don't you worry to much. You can always go to check on her later."
"Ok, thank you."
I went and sat in my designated area as introduced myself to the new makeup lady. I was hoping Alex was only going to be here for today and I could see Marie again. Me and J-hope decided to go over to her place after the shoot to check up on our friend.

Hoseok knocked on the door and stepped back. Few movements were heard until the door slightly opened.
"Oh, what are you g-guys doing h-here?"
"We heard you were sick and decided to come check on you!" J-hope said.
"You g-guys didn't have to d-do that! Hehe.... It's just a stomach bug really."
"We brought some soup, are we aloud in?" I asked with a worried tone.
Usually when coming over Marie answer by swinging the door open and yelling "Annyeong!" with a bright appearance. But the door was only cracked and her voice sounded rough.
"Hey, are you alright? That looks like it hurts." I heard Hobi, making me snap from my thoughts.
"What are y-you talking about?!" Marie shot a hand up to cover her eye, which we had already seen.
"We're coming in." I said before brushing past her at the door. "Marie ah, what happened to you?!" Hobi yelled.
I was going to ask the same thing but I couldn't stop staring, my mouth not able to close.
"Who did this to you?"
