It Started With Make-Up

Chapter two

Wow.
I thought it looked nice in the pictures, but this place was really worth the trip! It had a nice kitchen area and living space, and off to the side were two rooms and a bathroom. By the living room their were sliding doors leading to an awesome balcony, a cute set of chairs and a table placed nicely on the side. As I searched through my new home my parents kept bringing my things up for me. The place was so lovely I couldn't believe it was mine!
"Yeoboseyo!"
"OH MY GOD!" I jumped at the sudden greeting. Not being familiar with the loud voice.
"I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to startle you."
In front of me stood a short girl with a black pixie cut hair due, she was wearing yellow overalls with a white sweater, and shiny white doc martins on her feet. Her face was pale with flushed cheeks and a button nose, her lids covered in glitter with sharp wings, and a pale pink gloss for her lips.
"Yeoboseyo, my names Kim Seo-won. I'm your neighbor!" she said with a big smile.
"Oh, I'm Marie." I said before bowing.
She bowed back and look around my home.
"It's very pretty here," she said, twirling around to take in the space.
"Yeah, I really love it here already."
"Well Marie," she pulled out a small notecard, "here is my number if you need it, and also don't be afraid to stop by whenever you're free!"
"Thank you, will do." I said before bowing again.
She waved goodbye and went back out the door, bowing to my parents as they walked past with the last of my boxes.

After my parents checked out the apartment we sat down and talked for a long time before saying our goodbyes. It was really sad leaving my parents, and this would be the first time living alone for me. The time was ten o'clock pm, so I decided to take a shower and head off to bed. 
The water was warm and relaxing, and I washed up extra good, making sure to do my facial treatments once out of the shower. I had to do my best make-up tomorrow to impress the boss and I needed my skin to look flawless. When I finished I went into one of the rooms and made a pallet for the night. I decided I do furniture shopping after the meeting tomorrow, so it'll have to do for tonight. I was so excited for tomorrow I thought I wouldn't be able to sleep, but slowly I started to feel myself nod off and eventually sleep took over.

I had woken up and finished my make-up, but I just couldn't seem to find an outfit. I still had plenty of time and I lived close to the company building, but I wanted to get their a few minutes early to prepare myself. I decided on blue skinny jeans and a sweater, doing my hair up nice and wearing combat boots to finish it off. It wasn't a professional meeting and he said no need to dress up, but I still looked classy enough, so I wasn't too worried.
I grabbed my keys and looked at myself one more time before locking the door and heading to my car. My old car I had left at my parents home, But I have a cousin who was from the area that took me to get a car for when I moved here. It wasn't anything special but the car was nice enough. The drive didn't take long and soon enough I was here, at the building, ready for my first meeting and starting my career. I couldn't believe it. It was nine twenty, I was ten minutes early. I felt so nervous. I took a deep breath and stepped out of my car and walked towards the building, this was it.
As I got inside there was a nice lobby, with a desk where a women sat at a computer. I walked up to her and smiled.
"Yeoboseyo, my names Marie, I'm here for a meeting with Bang Si-hyuk?"
"Great, you're a little early so just take a seat and I'll notify him that you're here."
I bow and say thank you before sitting at a small table. I looked out of the huge window and watched people walk by, and birds flying in the pinky blue sky. It was a beautiful day out and I was just so happy to be here.
It only took a while for him to come out and see me waiting.
"Marie Yohyung, it's a pleasure to see you again!"
"Yeoboseyo!" I bow, "It's nice to see you too sir."
"Please, come to my office! I have people to introduce you to."
We walked down a long hallway, what looked like practice rooms lined the walls leading to his office. You could hear faint music and shoes screeching on the floor, sometimes there would be laughter heard to.
He opened the door and allowed me to go in first, I bowed before entering and stepped aside while I waited for him to tell me to sit down. I looked around at all the people in the room and bowed to them as well, happily they bowed back.
"Please, take a seat, we have some things to discuss."
I smiled and took a seat between a girl with long brown hair and blue eyes and a boy with platinum blonde hair and brown eyes.
"yeoboseyo!" everyone said in unison.
"Everyone, please stand and introduce yourself," Bang started, "You can go first Marie." He smiles.
I politely stood and cleared my throat.
"Hi, I'm Marie. I just graduated from make-up school and I came here to fulfill my dream. So thank you for having me." I finished and bowed.
Then the girl next to me stood up, and it kept going around the table. Almost everyone had gone except seven boys sitting next to me. I turned to direct my attention to them as they stood, and they all caught my eye. They were very handsome and seemed to be really fit, and then, I saw him. It was the kid I ran into at the rest stop just the other day. I didn't say anything and he didn't seem to recognize me, but I can't believe I'll be working with him.
"Hello, Im Suga." the boy gave a gummy smile, one almost like my father.
"Yeoboseyo, I'm J-hope!"
"Nice to meet you Marie, I'm Jimin." he bowed.
"I'm Jungkook, I'm the maknae of the group."
"You can call me RM," he said with a bright smile.
"I'm V, yeoboseyo."
"I'm Jin, I'm the oldest brother."
"We are BTS!" the seven boys said in unison.
I waved and they all sat down, everyone now turning their attention back to Bang Si-hyuk.
"Marie, you'll be doing RM's make-up."
I look back over to him, and politely smile and he does a little head nod.
"Tomorrow," Bang continues, "We're doing a full make-up and outfit rehearsal, so everyone get ready for that."
"Yes sir!" everyone says.
"Boys, go ahead and head back to your practice room."
BTS all stood up and left, afterwards Bang dismissed the meeting and told me to come prepared tomorrow. I could not be more excited!
