Sanae almost choked when she heard it. "That's it? How do you think would a strawberry milk slide my suicidal thoughts off my mind?" She asked
Doyoung ignored what she said and just wanted the giel to respond yes or no to his question. "So, I'll buy you a strawberry milk whenever you want one and in exchange, stop being suicidal. Deal?" Doyoung said, not forgetting to emphasize the word 'whenever'
"Whenever? You sure, kid?" Sanae raised her eyebrow, doubting what Doyoung has just stated
"Kid? Your name tag says; "(highschool department)" and look at mine" Doyoung pointed out, making the girl roll her eyes
"Whenever?" Sanae asked again
"Whenever" The male repeated
"Okay then" She said, earning a grin from Doyoung
"I have a question though" Doyoung said as they both walked out of the building. The girl hummed as a response
"Why do I never see you at school?" He asked
Sanae just shrugged and threw the empty milk carton on a trash bin beside a lamp post
"Where do you live? I'll walk you there" Doyoung offered, which made the girl shook her head
"Tell me" Doyoung whined until he irritated the girl
"Fine, I'll tell you along the way" She answered which made Doyoung smile.
"There's a left tur—" Sanae stopped when she spotted something
Doyoung looked at her in confusion on why she stopped. He noticed that Sanae was looking at a certain direction and Doyoung moved his eyes to where the giel was looking. As soon as he did so, the view was blocked by Sanae's back when she started running.
"You cute creature!" The girl bent down and picked up the kitten
Doyoung let out a lop-sided smile before walking towards the girl.
"You like kittens, huh?"
"No, I love them, so much" Sanae replied, happiness filling her voice
Doyoung smiled as he wondered on why the girl kept on attempting to kill herself when she's always happy and smiling whenever he's with her.
After minutes, Sanae and Doyoung left the kitten when the big cat arrived. They walked down the streets and was about to take a left turn when Sanae spotted a store which made her smirk
"Hey, senior, buy me one right now" Sanae said, earning a sigh from Doyoung before the male went in the store and bought a strawberry milk.
He gave it to the girl and started walking again. Doyoung noticed that she drink in and just kept it held in her hands
"You're not going to drink it?" Doyoung hesitantly asked
"Nah, not right now" The girl responded while she shook her head
Doyoung just nodded in consideration. Sanae stopped on her tracks making the male discontinue his walking too. They both stood infront of a white medium sized bungalow house.
"Um, I'll go now then" Sanae looked at Doyoung before waving at him
She began walking towards the house and opened the gate. She stepped in and was about to close the gate when Doyoung suddenly grabbed her hand, making her stop. Sanae turned around to face Doyoung and then eyed his hand.
Doyoung noticed the girl eyeing his hand and realized that it's because he took hold of her's
"Sorry for dirtying your clean hand, but I just wanna ask something" Doyoung said
Sanae gave him a blank expression as a response
"Do you leave alone?" Doyoung asked, earning a slight nod from the girl
"Why though?" Doyoung threw one more question, something that made the girl flinch
"None of you business" She coldly said before yanking her hand away. She quickly closed the gate and went inside her house.
